Ok, bye. Time to form an actual opinion  "Copo De Gin" : This was perfectly fine which didn't allow it to stand out. "Gerbera Amarela Do Sul" : To be honest I lost all the hype I felt for this song prior to the show but he served! You can clearly see that there was an artistic vision and I like that. Didn't expect people to vote for it tho... "O Dia De Amanhã" : The studio track is actually enjoyable but this was so boring live!  "Passe-Partout" : I was very surprised to see someone bring a full performance with props, dancers and proper styling. Of course this was very inspired by La La Land but in my opinion it works. For now, this is my winner of the national selection. Still not sure how this would do in Eurovision... "Rebellion" : Honestly, I don't even know what to say. People are saying that the staging was a letdown and that they sounded bad live. I didn't get any of that?? It's not like Portugal was going to send an act in english anyway but they deserved the final! "Medo De Sentir" : For me, this was the letdown! They had one of the strongest studio tracks that sounded professional and expensive but they somehow managed to make it look cheap? The LED's looked cheap, they should changed them or scratch them at all. Also, the camera shots were very odd, with a lot of them focusing on the backing vocalists, like wtf? This song is about Elisa! In my opinion, she should be alone on stage with beautiful but effective lighting and not with those cheap LED's. Also, the styling made her look older than what she actually is. "Agora" : What a mess! At least, I was able to laugh at the cheasyness of this. "Movimento" : Didn't know RTP allowed the acts to have such effects but they looked very good. Also, the performance was full of energy! Overall, I don't know how to feel about FdC this year especially taking into account that this was supposed to be the stronger semi, next week will be boringggg... Also, don't understand why doing the show so late...  |
