Seeing the results and reading some of the comments, it reminds me of June 2016 in UK, when they were about to vote in the referendum. Everyone was confident that "remain" is gonna win the vote (most people were confident Dotter will win). And then, by the slightest of margins - "leave" wins. Everyone's shocked, fuming, questioning the voting & asking: "How could that happen?" Later it was revealed, that many brits voted "leave" as a joke, because they thought that their single vote won't change anything. It's a big proof, that every single vote counts, because apparently there were enough of these jokers. Now it feels pretty much the same with Dotter and The Mamas (look at every poll about Melodifestivalen 2020 - Dotter tops them all).

What is with recent female MF winners and close results? Last time a woman won MF was in 2014, when Sanna Nielsen won over Ace Wilder by 2 POINTS. I give this a satisfactory . It's joyful, enjoyable, and worth appreciating, but I'm not astounded by it for it's not my taste. I find it significantly better than John's song from last year at the very least.

This is quite a clear 12, "Move" is a BANGER and in years like 2018/2019 it would've been the best winner possible. But of course I have to talk about my big favourite, Dotter. Being one of my all-time favourite Swedish artists, I was fully excited to see her participating in 2018 and I was ready for her to surprise and be a contender to do really well. As we all know, that didn't happen and the "dream" of seeing her perform in ESC kinda died after she declined any participation in the upcoming MFs. HOWEVER, this year, to my surprise she was back. Initially, I had low expectations, but everything that followed after SF2 made me believe otherwise. I finally saw the Swedish public and the ESC fandom embracing her and it honestly felt SO GOOD, considering it was for an artist I've stanned since 2015. Everything looked like she was going for the victory but of course it didn't happen and I can't lie, it was quite devastating, especially because of that 1 fucking point. I wish I could think she's going to come back and win but I can't. So to sum up: - Do I like the winner? Absolutely - Am I disappointing as fuck? Fuck yes - Are we ever going to see Dotter in ESC? Probably not, I feel like the big chance happened to be this year and it was as close as it gets. Not gonna lie though, if you had told me in 2018 after she came 6th in the semi, that all of this would happen, I wouldn't believed you. Not in a million years. And fuck the Austrian jury, they deserve no rights whatsoever. Also fuck the French jury

An okay song. It's a at the moment. This song is not essentially bad (but neither very special imo), but it includes the sentence "Everybody wants to move like us" a little too often. What I enjoy on the other hand are their vocals. And thanks god Sweden can also send songs that don't need a huge stagings.

Finally, not some generic male jurybait coming out of Sweden! A slogan so strong even Sweden opened up, We stan Rotterdam!

After last year, I didn't think Sweden could pack any more soul into 3 minutes. But they did
