STRIKES SYSTEM
- Once a player gets THREE strikes, they won't be able to participate in the contest for at least TWO editions and will also lose the rights of their country.
- Removal of strike points will be considered in the future, for now there's no way for them to get removed.
- The main goal of this system is to reduce the amount of non-voters after every voting period.
- After each edition there will be a new post updating the table.
- There might be exceptions, depending on the reason given, where the participant will receive a different ''amount'' of punishment.
- The host saves the rights to:
1. Add, remove, or modify any line refered to this system at ANY time given.
2. Apply this system in a different way that it is mentioned here (a concrete reason will always be given if this happens).
3. Define what a 'valid reason' for not voting is.

- Not submitting an entry after having confirmed already.
- Asking for a replacement/giving a reason to not voting BEFORE the very last day of any voting period.
*Important notes:
* If any of both actions is done twice in a row, instead of getting 2/3 of a strike, the participant will get a FULL point. This will be applied as many times as they repeat the same action in a row.
* There mut be a VALID reason every time a participant asks for a replacement (forgetting about the deadline is not a valid reason, for example). Just asking for one is not enough.
::: The following actions will give the participant ONE FULL strike point:
- Not voting in the semi-final where the participant is taking part.
- Not voting in the Grand Final (regardless if they qualified or not).
- Asking for a replacement/giving a reason to not voting on the LAST DAY of the voting period (this is, AFTER the personal reminders are sent).
Some explanations:
- ''Only'' a third of a strike point is given in those situations because I'm considering those actions can be done by anyone, at any point given, for a variety of reasons that are not in the control of the player, so it'd be unfair to give them a big punishment, but at the same time, I must still add a way of punishment so that participants only ask for a replacement when it's ABSOLUTELY necessary.
- The reason why a FULL strike point is given to those who ask for a replacement ONLY during the very last day of the voting period is that, when it happens, I can only start looking for replacements AFTER the deadline has passed and thus delaying the edition, or breaking my schedule. This doesn't happen when they tell me at least two days before the deadline.
