Welcome Fantasia to the 4th edition of Dýrska Söngkeppnin!

Although

DRTV initially opted for an internal selection to choose their next act, due to high demand and careful planning, another edition of Dýrska Söngkeppnin was able to be held. This is also thanks to

Hatari's respectable 6th place in the 16th edition, where they just missed out on the top 5.

This national selection format has had mixed results for

Dýria. It has brought the country a 4th place, a last place and also a non-qualification. However, this time around the system has changed dramatically. Instead of battles being held in specific languages,

DRTV chose 12 songs to compete regardless of language, and they will compete in one big final. The former system may return in the future, however the current head of delegation of

Dýria stated that this was unlikely to happen anytime soon.

FORMAT

12 songs will compete in the final. The final consists of all 4 languages of

Dýria and others, although DRTV stated that songs in any language could be submitted.
Only those with a Fantasia country can vote in the national selection. Non participant votes in the poll will not be counted and if a non participant does vote, I will ask you to remove your votes.

The voting will be 100% poll voting, which will open later during the week.
