Onduria will take part in the 18th edition of the Fantasia Contest!
RTO has announced that Onduria will be present in the following edition of the contest. After last edition's qualification, RTO has received funding from different sponsors and "Ondurian Fest" will be back to select the nation's entry.

Wyvernbourne confirms for 18th edition!
Wyvernbourne's delegation has accepted to participate in the 18th edition of the contest following a spectacular result from Charlotte Adigéry last edition.

TORLOVA WILL BE PRESENT!
Despite failing to qualify to the grand final in Decoria, the Torlovan delegation has no intention to withdraw from the contest.
The head of delegation Alper Sametler stated the following:
"(...) We're very excited to announce that our entrant for the 18th edition is already selected! After a long search for the eligible candidate to bring us back to the final, we came across a multinational band that we feel like will achieve us a great place in the upcoming edition. (...)"
Who will be Franz Szony's successor? Stay tuned to find out!

Alkyria withdraws!
During a press conference earlier in the morning, HGP officially announced Alkyria's withdrawal from the 18th edition of Fantasia Contest. Among the reasons given were the presumed lack of interest and low ratings as of recently, however the broadcaster specified that "the withdrawal will be only temporarily, and it's likely to see the nation return in the nineteen edition".
Furthermore, the broadcaster is planning yet another strategy following Alkyria's poor results in this era, while details surrounding what's all about remains undisclosed.
It will be the first time when Republic of Alkyria officially withdraws from Fantasia Contest, falling short from its (well, more or less with 1 edition) upcoming 20th anniversary of participating.
HGP wished good luck to all the participants this edition and openly congratulated Niolskiaj for their second win, with the broadcaster kindly giving the upcoming host nation a panda plushie.
But for now, Alkyria will watch from the arena and see how this will turn out.
(and what kind of people we are not to give presents?)

well, I'll start uni very very soon and with all the campus thing and accommodation and stuff, I don't think I'd be able to vote or barely participate this edition - since I have to move and all that.
therefore, yeah, this. however, I hope I can still follow it in some way or another.

  Lanovina CONFIRMS for #18Cöhln, 29th September: Ending weeks of speculation about Lanovina's plans for the upcoming Fantasia Contest edition, the broadcaster finally confirmed its participation. After three editions of underwhelming results, the selection method will return to a traditional National Selection.
The HoD explained that neither the two recent internal selections nor the internal selection and subsequent NS for Ida Kudo satisfied the country's ambitions, despite all three acts being popular in Lanovina. The last time a public NS was held, Lanovina selected Fishbach and received a decent place in the contest. With the return of the format, the broadcaster hopes to do well again as well as showcase the wide variety of Lanovina's music scene and pick a worthy song to represent the nordic nation in Niolskiaj.

AQUIA CONFIRMS INTERNAL SELECTION!
After five consecutive top 10 placements in the contest, Rede Globo has confirmed that Aquia will be present in the eighteenth edition of the Fantasia Contest!
Rede Globo has also confirmed that the song and its music video have already been recorded and that the entry is entirely in Aquian.
