Moscow, we can announce that we have selected the duo also husband and wife VADA to represent

Russia in

Malmo.

VADA consist of Daria Chebanova which isn't new to the contest, she represent Russia in edition 11 as part of SEREBRO. This time she forms a duo with her husband Vanya Chebanov, which is a new face to the contest. They are both really excited to perform on such big stage with a song that they really love themself. They really want to show Europe their music and thats why they are eager to participate in the contest.

They will perform their song "Biryuzovaya" (Бирюзовая) in

Malmo.

We wish them the best of luck in

Malmo!

Télévision Tunisienne 1 just announced the winner of The Tune, the way the Tunisian broadcaster would select their entry for the 30th edition of the North Vision Song Contest. The winner is....

ENJI MAAROUFI!

Enji Maaroufi is a singer-songwriter, known for her Arabic covers of mostly children shows on her youtube channel.
She is most known for her song "Sarkha" which had million views on youtube, ever since then she released one song, that being Live It! Her and her parents come from Tunisia, however are based in Germany.

She will represent Tunisia with the song "Live It!"!

May she bring the crown for the first time to Tunisia!

Tunisia has participated a total of nine times since it's debut in the 8th edition. This was and still is the only edition in which Tunisia
qualified to the final ending at the 17th place. The editions after weren't doing Tunisia any favours, the country had to endure eight
non-qualifications, three of which were pre-qualification round non-qualifications. After so many failures the NBU
and the Nessma broadcasting company decided to end the Tunisian participation, starting from the seventeenth edition on.

Tables turned however shortly after Tunisia was allowed to return under broadcaster Télévision Tunisienne 1,
with the country immediately qualifying to the final. In their returning edition the broadcaster was able to get Tunisia's first top 10 first, with "Footsteps" coming 7th, just missing out on the AQ status. They were certainly on a roll, since one edition after just missing out the band Konqistador with Tunisian rap artist Medusa Tn made the impossible happen. Tunisia ended on the 5th place with "Eden, Woman's War" granting the country it's first AQ spot!

A Diva RETURNS for Germany!

Cologne, 28th November: Unser Song für NVSC 30 just ended and the winner is none other than trans icon Kim Petras! She won the national selection with 157 points, 23 points ahead of runner-up Delhia de France, and managed to win the juries as well as the Televoting with her song "There Will Be Blood", which therefore means that she will represent

Germany in

Malmö.

Kim Petras is a 27 year old pop artist from

Cologne, currently based in

Los Angeles and considered to be "the new princess of pop". She is no stranger to the Northvision stage, as she previously represented Germany in the

24th edition, where she unfortunately placed 16th in the 2nd Semi Final with her song "I Don't Want It at All". Since then she has matured in her sound and will hopefully score a better result with "There Will Be Blood", which was released on Vol. 2 of her Halloween-themed album "Turn Off The Light", on which she worked with the iconic Elvira, Mistress of the Dark.
