Today, TRM has confirmed the  Moldovan participation at the upcoming thirthieth edition of North Vision Song Contest held in  Sweden! It's also confirmed that Moldova will select internal! More info will be revealed very soon.

 NORWAY CONFIRMS PARTICIPATION! Oslo, Norway • 18 October 2019 After another top 10 finish achieved by Emilie Adams, NRK announced that the country will obviously be present in the next anniversary edition which will take place in neighbouring country Sweden for the third time. The broadcaster had a surprise for the public though. NRK officially announced...DEN NORSKEN SANGEN 27 THE BIGGEST DNS EDITION EVER!"We want to celebrate our 30th participation in the contest by hosting the biggest national selection we ever had. 20 songs will take part in order to represent Norway in Sweden. Which means we will host semi-finals for the first time. 10 songs in each semi-final with 5 from each one making it to the final."The Head of Delegation promised one of the strongest editions ever with a variety in music genres, languages and with songs that could maybe bring the contest to Norway again."Stay tuned for the acts announcement this weekend." |

ROMANIA CONFIRMS! TVR confirms Romania's participation in the upcoming edition of the North Vision Song Contest. Following another qualification, TVR is happy to announce that Romania will be present in Sweden for the jubilee edition. However, it has not yet been decided what kind of selection will be used in order to determine the nation's entry.

News from Israel:It's been already a week since Lola Marsh managed to reach the 3rd place in the previous edition which was held in  Dublin. That's the nation's 3rd best result ever and, in case of a further participation, would mean that the country would be AQ'ed for the 4th time in hits history. However a further participation was at first put in doubt. by the broadcaster. Now it's time to confirm or withdraw from the edition... It's been decided that the country will officially... take part in the 30th edition.
Like it was also mostly done during the previous editions the Israeli entry will be selected internally. The original plan was to send a female artist (or at least female voice in case of a group entry) to  Sweden. That decision was mainly made because all the other prequalified Israeli entries in #13 (Eliad), #16 (Roby & Tom) and #25 (Dennis) were male artists. It's not impossible however that the broadcaster will not stick to that idea. Wishing everyone a nice weekend!

KAZAKHSTAN WILL PARTICIPATE!
Astana, Kazakhstan. 20th October 2019.
The head of delegation,   Ivo Maskunyanov stated in a press conference "Kazakhstan will participate in the upcoming edition of NVSC, despite the possibility of taking part in the PQR. I can also confirm that Äwenfestïvali 30 will be our selection method".
NATIONAL FINAL From now on you can suggest songs to compete in the NF via the official form of NTK.

  Armenia confirms participation in Northvision Song Contest #30
Armenia will participate in the thirtieth edition of Northvision with the current HoD, Nazar Alexandryan, remaining in his post for a fifth contest
NorthYergy will be held once again, with 10 songs competing for a chance to represent our nation. Voters will be able to select up to three choices.
Nazar Alexandryan had this to say when announcing Armenia's confirmation -
"Armenia's results under our broadcaster have admittedly been lukewarm, but we are far from giving up. Our delegation is working tirelessly, searching Armenian surnames on Google the country up and down to find unknown talent to compete alongside our more established artists. And who knows, maybe another qualification has our name on it?"
He was also excited about the prospect of another associate final -
"The Armenian delegation is excited to see another country join us as a guest on the Northvision stage. Unless it's Pakistan - stop pretending we don't exist!"

 Spain out for another edition.
TVE confirmed today that Spain won't be present for another edition of the North Vision Song Contest. The reason given is not clear, but it was reported earlier that TVE still faces economic problems.
