THE FAROE ISLANDS CONFIRM!
KVF announced the participation of the Faroe Islands in the upcoming edition of the North Vision Song Contest.
After the a respectful 16th place in the Grand Final of the previous contest, the Faroese broadcaster has revealed that the Faroese National Selection "Sangur" will be discontinued. "Due to big budget cuts [...] by our local government, we have no choice but to opt for an internal selection in future editions of the contest. [...] We have already received an amount of about 150 submissions, which we are very proud to select between." Marina Háberg announced in the press conference yesterday evening.
Popular Faroese acts such as Heidrik have shown interest on their social media. The act selected to represent the Faroe Islands in the jubilee edition of the North Vision Song Contest will be revealed at a later date. LEBANON CONFIRMS
BEIRUT, 15 OCTOBER 2019.
Following Shirin's 9th place in the Grand Final of the 28th North Vision, and continuing current success (two top 10 in a row for  Lebanon),
there was no reason to see the Arabic nation to withdraw, therefore, Lebanon will be present in  Sweden.
Once more, the entry for the contest will be choosed via either an internal selection or a national selection composed of 2 songs.
The current decision about the language hasn't been decided yet, but the delegation, which just opened the entry submissions, wishes
to see more entries in Arabic & French. However, the language doesn't matter much with the quality wished for the Lebanese entry.
Also, the Lebanese HoD is able to confirm that whenever the Arabic Night will be held, Lebanon will be present on that evening.

 San Marino back with
a National Selection!!!
San Marino RTV choose with a National Selection for NVSC #30.
The songs are already in the approval phase,
but will remain secret for a few more days.
After the positive streak with Shanguy and Joey, the jury immediately started to work on the next edition and it was a long and important process, many songs arrived on our chair!
Our jurors have gradually decreased the number of them,
from 20 good proposals that respect the rules of the contest
to 12 then 8, up to the final 4 choice.
The HoD responds to journalists: "I am very satisfied with the choices, it is a risky choice because we don't know how the juries will vote, but we really believe in this songs,
we have chosen 4 excellent songs that could divide the juries,
but we are ready to see what will happen ".
Journalist: any anticipation on your proposals?
HoD: We will have 3 female singers and 1 male singer in the selection,
I spoke about difficulties for the juries because all the songs are of a different genre.
So it could be a matter of taste, because the songs really deserve.
Journalist: Why did you come back with the national selection?
HoD: it is an interesting question after the last two crazy results for San Marino, the answer is simple, we had strong songs in the pre-selection phase and it would be bad to leave them at home. Then we are talking about the 30th edition!
Surely we will also return to the Second Chance Contest to try to improve our result. |

PARTICIPATION CONFIRMED
After a non qualification in dublin, members of the commitee held several meeting to discus about their future in the North Vision Song Contest. But in today's press release, 2M decided to stop with the rumours and confirmed its participation in the 30th edition.
- We were suspicious about competing in the next edition due to our financial troubles, but after we saw Manal was 12th in her semi-final, which means we won't be in the PQR, the participation has been confirmed.
According to some rumours, the artist will be chosen internally.

SERBIA WITHDRAWS IN NORTHVISION SONG CONTEST #30
The decision is based on the possibility of a change of delegation (HoD or/and Co-HoD).
An appearance in the thirty-first edition is likely but not certain as of yet.

Dublin ended a few days ago, and the 
Ukrainian participation is more than safe! A big factor is the amazing 2nd place achieved by one of our most famous singers Artem Pivovarov, which means that Ukraine again got the privilege of being directly qualified to the final.
