Okay, last year, where I was so happy to see Bilal and Roi representing my country, this year, I'm just disappointed in our delegation and broadcaster. Who thought this would be the BEST song to send ? Who thought it would be a great idea to showcase this generic, cheesy, bland and boring ballad on the EIFFEL TOWER
With this, I really feel like our HoD just doesn't know how Eurovision doesn't work. I'm disappointed because this can't be the best that the internal selection had, I'm disappointed because of the Swedish composers, for which, France has a great amout of composers and writers, but instead, we're calling a Swedish guy where most of his songs are flopping in Melodifestivalen or Melodi Grand Prix, and another guy who participated in the composition of the song that placed 26th in Tel Aviv. And the cherry on the top is Amir, being here just for translating some part of the songs in French.I'm sorry but this is just not a good song, please Steven or Edoardo, come back, I don't want France Télévisions, or France 2, or our current delegation to go back to that 2004 - 2014 period where they didn't gave a single f*** about Eurovision, and where we placed on the bottom 5 in more years than during 1956 - 2004 combined.
The only positive thing I can find about this song is the instrumental which is kinda reminding me of a lowcost Disney song.
would be in a battle with "Chains On You" for being my last place, I haven't listened properly till this day, I wish I didn't honestly, it's so disappointing in all the possible ways, I know Tom's work, never was my favorite thing in the world but this is my least favorite of his. What was that that production, in the Eiffel tower just to sing the cheesiest song France has ever chosen, Bilal, Madame Monsieur, Alma, Amir, deserved better. This makes me feel angry I know this could be a little bit too exaggerated but this is a
