NO DESTINATION EUROVISION 2020 - INTERNAL SELECTION FOR FRANCE
Mostly due to the weak viewing rates of the selection (~1,9 millions of viewers for the 3 evenings in January 2019, and quite lower than the ESC Final (4,8m),
but also due that the French delegation also want more control over the song selection.
With this change, the French delegation also wish to get closer to the top 5, which the last French entry getting there was in 2002.
To also put all the chance to their side, France Télévisions have called some French but also International writers & lyricists.
Along with this, a show which will present the future French representant will be broadcasted.
