Well then the same can be applied in Mabel's situation - we don't know if she was raised in  Spain or not.  And although this may not sound nice to you, it's your opinion but it doesn't mean we or our rules have to agree with it. Raised or not, but doesn't change the fact that she is born in Spain. Alright so if someone was born in a foreign country either by coincidence or because the parents happened to be there (or even planned to be there during the birth of their child), does this mean the child is from that country? Clearly not, at least to me. In any case I will not discuss this any further, the connection is simply not enough; there is some connection but it's too weak. The entry has to be changed, otherwise  Spain will not participate this edition, as simple as that. |
