Valentina Giardullo, aka Valentina Ploy, was born in Torre del Greco (province of Naples) on 3 December 1993.

She lives in Piano di Sorrento with her parents. Her life is divided between family, music, study and travel. She has traveled the world, lived in Spain for six months, and every year she leaves for Thailand from her mother's family, which she considers her second home. Valentina has been singing since she started talking. For her, music was immediately a requirement, the only instrument with which she feels she truly expresses herself. Her favorite musical genres are indie, pop and rock.

Ploy is a Thai nickname, the meaning is "Gemstone".

She was at Amici (the Italian talent show) in the same edition of Shady (Shanguy's singer), but Valentina was eliminated almost immediately while Shady managed to earn a place in the evening stage.

"I was in a relationship but both in a different countries, we are far away from each other quite a long time but I guess that you're the one that can destroy my barriers, like country and emotion limit. When we were far from each other, I felt like I was dancing on the wire, excited, happy but in the same time scared to deep down".
