Sanremo is back with a bang this edition! After almost three years of the festival not being used as a selection process for NVSC, RAI have decided to give the say to the Italian people to select our representative for 
Norway! Last edition, "Sushi" resulted in a non-qualification for the country, which is why the lineup for this Sanremo has been touted as one of the strongest ever. Several songs that were initially meant to be in the line-up were left out so as not to make the field too strong.
