SEMI-FINAL ALLOCATION DRAW
On the 24th of February 2020, the semi-final allocation draw for the North Vision Song Contest 31 took place at the City Hall of Lillehammer, in Lillehammer, Norway, where all the HoDs met to generally discuss the upcoming edition of the North Vision Song Contest.
The 37 automatic semi-finalists were divided into 6 pots based on their geographical location and cultural similarities. Following a draw, the countries were randomly divided in the two semi-finals. The country staying behind from the 6th pot (Latvia) was transferred to a 7th pot with the PQR qualifiers, those 4 countries were filling the spots in both semis.
