Welcome! Here in this thread everything regarding our 80th Edition will be discussed!
It's going to be a special edition with the theme: "Songs with less than 8000 views on Youtube"
(8000 due to it being our 8th Special Edition)
Some further information:
- We take into account videos of all kind: Official music videos, lyric videos, topic videos.
- If there's more than one video of a song: all videos combined must have less than 8000 views.
- Cover videos of a song with more views are allowed, as long as the cover itself has less than 8000.
- Songs with less than 8000 views on other platforms/websites are also acceptable, as long as there's no Youtube video that exceeds the number.
- We will try to look at your submission asap, at most within a few hours, the moment we check the video will be essential whether it's allowed or not!
- If the song gets too many views later on in the edition, it won't be disqualified. As said above, the point when we check your song is the only essential one.
- However, songs where an extreme growth of views can be expected, are generally not allowed. Example: Submitting the newest Ariana Grande song one minute after it's on Youtube, where it's realistic the song will get to 100.000s or even millions of views within a short time afterwards (an extreme example that won't be relevant hopefully - such and similar cases will be decided by the admins if necessary).
The key thought of this edition is to give singers/songs/bands a chance which are perhaps not so known yet and whose songs deserve some promotion
Besides it's supposed to be a bit challenging as it's a special edition after all.
Also please be honest/careful and try to make sure your song/video fits the requirements before you submit it
Example: If you find a video of a song with 5000 views, please shortly check if there's not other videos of the same song which perhaps give the song too many views and thus make it ineligible.
