The second edition of 
Kaapstad Musiekfees is ready to take place in Cape Town. A special jury pannel of the broadcaster selected these 3 songs that will fight for the right to represent our nation in 
Ouagadougou. We wish them all good luck and may the best one win.

Andriëtte Norman, who often performs as Andriëtte, is an Afrikaner singer from the Cape Town suburb Brackenfell. The 33 year old singer began her career in 2007, after being the runner-up of the 4th season of Idols South Africa, sence then she has released 4 albums
She was chosen to represent the Afrikaans language
02) Elaine - You're The One
21 year old Elaine Ndivhuwo Mukheli , known professionally as Elaine, is a South African R&B singer and songwriter from Pretoria. While studying law at the University of the Witwatersrand, she self-released her debut EP Elements in September 2019. The EP reached No. 1 on both the national iTunes and Apple Music album chart, making her the first independent female artist to do so. As of March 2020, Elaine is the most streamed female artist from South Africa on Spotify.

03) Mafikizolo - Ngeke Balunge
Mafikizolo is a South African singing duo consisting of Theo Kgosinkwe and Nhlanhla Nciza. They are multiple times winners of the South African Music Award, including the awards for Best Duo or Group of the Year. The group has been constantly active since 1997 (apart from a hiatus between 2009 and 2013).
They were chosen to represent the Zulu language
