THE FAROE ISLANDS CONFIRM!
THE FAROE ISLANDS TO OPT FOR AN ONLINE SELECTION KVF has officially confirmed that the Faroe Islands are going to be present at the upcoming North Vision Song Contest. After returning to the Grand Final with a new selection format, the broadcaster will continue the tradition and re-apply it to the next edition. 20 songs will be competing in an internal selection process in which selected juries will vote to find the Top 5 entries that will have the chance to battle it out in the Online Selection " Sangur"! London – Today the BBC has confirmed the British participation for the 33rd North Vision Song Contest. Northvision: Your Decision will once again serve as selection method. The Head of Delegation has announced that there'll be no changes. Songs and/or artists can be suggested >>here<<.

 SWEDEN WILL BE PRESENT IN THE 33RD EDITION!SVT has just confirmed Sweden's continuous participation in the North Vision Song Contest and their presence at the 33rd edition, which will be held in the winning country of the North Vision Song Contest 32. FANTASIFESTIVALEN TO BE HELD!  Fantasifestivalen 33 will be held in order to select the next Swedish entrant. Once again an amount of 32 songs will compete in the selection. The Head of Delegation, Jan Björkman, said: "Even with a slight decrease in viewing figures of both our selection show Fantasifestivalen and the main shows of the North Vision Song Contest among the Swedish audience, the general interest remains very high. 2.227 entry submissions were received for the thirty-third edition of Fantasifestivalen and we have made sure to select the most outstanding songs in a field of very diverse performers in order to deliver a spectacular show to the familiar standards of the competition. For now, we wish the best of luck to Isak Danielson in Luxembourg!" |

 Finland confirms participation!
YLE is happy to announce that  Finland will be seen in the North Vision Song Contest 33. YLE also announced that Pohjoisviisut will again be used as a selection method. As in the previous editions, seven artists will compete to represent Finland in one of the biggest music events. More information about Pohjoisviisut 33 will be revealed in the upcoming days. |

Georgia. It is rumored that a selection similar to last edition's will take place to decide on the song that will represent the island nation, but nothing is confirmed yet.
