For this week, I was the first to pick an entry. I decided to go with Bulgaria and "Tears Getting Sober" by Victoria. In my opinion, it's truly one of the most beautiful songs we got from this year's cancelled contest and it really feels like an oasis in a very mediocre (according to most) year. I think it would be a really deserving winner, had the contest not being cancelled and I hope it gets the chance to shine here. | Lyrics

Gemma CollinsAthena Manoukian - "Chains On You"1:12 or 2:43+ For the first time in my life, I'm not posting last. I don't know how to feel about this, but I just had to make it known.
From the first time I heard this song, I knew that this would be my number one. Chains On You oozes sensuality, sex appeal and a gritty, raw urban appeal that has rarely made a presence in Eurovision until very recently. COY combines this R&B sound with the traditional Armenian flare which truly made it both enticing and a stand out from the get go.
I decided to go with a bit of a risk, knowing that this song is the only song sent so far that wasn't in the betting odds' Top 10, but I just had to send this banger. It wouldn't feel right if I didn't. The song is certainly a grower for a lot of people, and I feel that the song is one of the songs that aged the best over the past three months.
Just imagine the performance this could've had on stage, chile,,, And the poetry that the lyrics exert...

From the history of the song's existence (being passed from Cyprus to Azerbaijan to San Marino back to Azerbaijan only to not actually go to Eurovision) to the actual song itself being one of the most chaotic yet enjoyable pop experiences of Eurovision history, there is no denying the power and impact Miss Efendi would've had on the year. With its Nichiren Buddhist chant for a chorus and its LGBT lyrics, Cleopatra became a fan favourite before it was even released, and will undoubtedly be a song that won't go forgotten in the Eurovision that never happened. It's truly a defining whopper of the year and it's a travesty that we'll never see how this work of art was executed live.
