INTRODUCTION
HI , This is my first serious post and i hope it goes to many people. My name in this forum is juanini , and im making a personal project . I´m making an online rebut of a national song contest that had been hold from 1959 and 2006 , with some pauses in 1979 , 1984 and among 1986 and 1992 ; the "Benidorm Song Festival" or "Festival de la Canción de Benidorm" . Im making it to make a prototype as a national selection for Eurovision (i know it sounds crazy ...) . im posting to anyone who is interested in taking part , about giving entry suggestion ,voting , facts about the festival , etc... . 2020 REBUT
In this post i,ll give a review of how i started an onine rebut of the contest ,15 years after the last edition back in 2006. I decided to continue as one prototype of national selection for the Eurovision Song Contest .
The format that i decided to make for the next editions : it starts selecting internally 30 songs , and in the youtube channel of the contest i,ll post one minute snippet of the songs , and the people can vote in the links that it will be in the descriptions of the videos, having week to vote for their 10 favourites songs.
Once the preliminary round finish and the voting period, the 10 finalists will be revealed. The final it will be held between August and September. It will consist of two rounds : the 1st ROUND consist of the 10 songs that the artist will perform. Then the voting line will open and the people can vote for their 5 favourites songs.
The 2nd ROUND ,the 5 remaining songs will perform again , and the same voting period will be opened again. Once the voting period is over the most voted song , wins.
the voting system it will be 50% online voting from TYPEFORM , while the other 50% will come from the televoting of JTV .com
A LITTLE BIT OF HISTORY
The Benidorm International Song Festival or Festival Internacional de la Canción de Benidorm (in Spanish) was an annual song contest which used to take place each summer, from 1959 to 2006, in the city of Benidorm, Spain. The contest, based on the Italian Sanremo Music Festival, was born to promote Benidorm and the Spanish music. Over the years it has suffered considerable modifications in format and quality of the songs as well the promotion of the contest. However in the early 80s the contest popularity started to decline causing that the benidorm festival wasn´t held in 1979 , 1984 and among 1986 and 1992 but it started again in 1993, It became international in 2004, but was discontinued after 2006. The contest was usually broadcast on television by TVE or Canal Nou , the old valencian TV.
