easily the most beautiful song in the edition to me (thus my from the jury). Sadly I expected this place though for it, it’s just not a song for the nvsc audience
I’m still really puzzled by how this was perceived. Y’all really stan so many basic dance songs, but weirdly enough, this one was so extremely hated. I really don’t get it. That said i think it’s an amazing song, by far my favorite of the entire edition, which is why I gave it 20 points
huh another robbery imo. This sounded really esc-ish imo, maybe even too much for its own good looking at the result. I think it was really catchy and entertaining, gave it overall after all

the beat caused me headaches, and the more often I heard it in the recap, the less I liked Mala’s Voice too. Overall just not a song I liked
another really underrated song, I really loved the ending/recap part, the rest is a bit too long for my liking though tbf. Overall still a song I really enjoyed, but I’m also a sucker for these fusion genre things
this was a cute bop, which I at first thought was really silly (first time I heard the French lyrics I just bursted out laughing) but then grew on me since it was so catchy. So yeah in the end you till got points from me. Still I’m not too mad it’s low in the end

unlike others I’m not too surprised this ended here, even though I think I predicted you five spots higher I think. I was always on the fence with your song, never being able to decide really if I like it or not, and in the end you missed out on points from me.
I was surprised this survived the PQR or the semis even, and looking at the results it just barely made it both times. I still liked this a lot, the melody was really good, and ended up giving it iirc. Still I would’ve been shocked if it did much better
I stay with my opinion that this is clearly recap bait. The first 2:30 are really bad and boring, but then the song suddenly turns into this good part. Couldn’t give this mess any point, but appreciate France doing well for a change
what’s this? A host that didn’t suck? Well you sent a really catchy song, and I’m really glad others caught up on it in time for you to get another great result! (Let’s not forget we’re still talking about Luxembourg lol)
Using this as a chance to say that Luxembourg was a great host (only slightly biased) and the council as a whole just stayed with recap and result designs!
Flahslovakia the singer sounds like Post Malone, ngl. Nevertheless I liked this song a lot, I just fucking love synth pop and this was a great example of a good synth pop song. Happy to see you do well after some recent robberies!

well, where to start? First of all I’m THRILLED to have done so well. I didn’t expect this at all, and I’m incredibly happy to have done so well again. This song was actually a replacement because my original entry turned out to be a sample, but that doesn’t mean that Eha didn’t mean the world to me, so this makes it just extra magical.
Thanks to all my fans, all the 12’s (8!! Like seriously that’s just crazy), especially Tunisia and Switzerland for their 24, this really means the world to me.
Final word: we love being the controversy of this edition

another banger where I’m seriously puzzled to how it wasn’t more appreciated. I think it was really catchy, even though the verses were rather mediocre. However in this edition it was still enough to get from me
similarly to Algeria this was a song where I was always on the fence between liking and disliking it. I think the violins in the background during the instrumental were incredibly annoying, but on the other hand there’s were moments where it really fit and also other parts of the songs I liked. In the end my annoyedness at the violin prevailed me from giving this any points, but seriously regret this a little now

this was around where I expected this to be. Nvsc appreciates this kind of music, but it was very clear that this wasn’t another Bannlyst. That said, after initially being bored by this song it grew on me just in time for some points
I’ll be honest, I never really saw the appeal of this, or any of Mika’s “new” songs in general. They’re all just this very bland generic forgettable brand of music. Still congrats luiri for rebounding after two weaker editions
I never expected this to be so high, because I wasn’t able to see any people really stanning this song. And even though the TV results leveled this success a bit, it still proved me wrong. That said i liked this song a lot, wish I would’ve given this a bit more now tbh, I really liked the chorus and instrumental and after Malta this was probably the most beautiful song

yasssss congrats Matt on AQing again! This song was a really late grower on me, it was really fun, catchy and entertaining and just wholesome if you can follow my thoughts. Really happy this fresh pop music can do so well here!
mmh I think most people were just a bit too tired of this once the final voting started. Which I can understand, I felt the same. Still I gave it some points, and I’m happy it did still so well, it was still a great song after all
I like the lyrics, I like the chorus. But the verses are just such a big letdown. Like for some other songs here I was still on the fence when it came to liking it, and even though I liked it it just missed out on points from me. Still happy this did so well!

whew! I’m really happy michal did so well, and WHAT A SONG. Incredibly catchy, it grew on me rapidly and ended not only as my second of the final, but the whole edition. I love Joane’s voice, it was incredibly sweet how engaged they were with the contest and yeah overall Belgium deserved to be back on top. But the joy that it did well again overshadows how sad I am that this didn’t win after all. Happy Pride Month y’all!
I’ll be honest, I never saw the appeal here. This was just a typical middle of the road pop song to me, nothing extraordinary or memorable. But in the end I just wanna say congrats to Alper for getting his best result here, an outstanding achievement for Montenegro in general and yet another proof that really any country here can do well

The song was nothing special to me, I didn’t hate it but except for some parts it wasn’t really good either. Just like Montenegro I can’t understand the bandwagon here really. But nvsc had clearly worse winners in the past so no need to complain

And that wraps it up for this edition. The results are overshadowed by my own surprising success (egoistic, i know) and also my happiness for Belgium. But at the same time I think the results weren’t really good, as I said earlier the rest of my top 4 ended in the bottom three, and the top 2 weren’t too good either. Overall this edition was competitive, but not necessarily a strong one either, with very little really great songs I stanned.
I’m still really happy Luxembourg hosted, weirdly enough, and once again, the whole team did another splendid job this time around.
Let’s go to Tbilisi!
