Good evening Europe and welcome to Reykjavík for the newest edition of Ferðin til...!
Despite not confirming the national selection earlier, the broadcaster has decided that it must continue with the format due to high public interest, even if the previous winner,
Elísabet, managed to only come 12th in the semi-final.
This time, our selection is named Ferðin til Georgiú as we are selecting the Icelandic act for the 33rd edition of North Vision Song Contest to be held in 
Georgia.
Like always, RÚV has received numerous applications from artists inside Iceland and the Icelandic diaspora, and the team have chosen another 4 acts to compete in the selection (2 chosen by me and 2 by agni ). The delegation wanted to pick more unknown artists in particular.
The four acts that will compete in this selection will be:
Blankiflur - Runner Up
Kristin Sesselja - Secret
Dream Wife - Sports!
Celebs - Rökkrið Reynir Æðruleysi
