Romanian Head of Delegation, Liana Stanciu, stated that Roxen's song will be selected internally by some jury members (former representatives of Romania in the contest that had top results, known composers from Romania, people related to Romanian radios and to TVR). During this period, Roxen has worked and will be working with composers from Global Records on around 6 songs, in demo versions, all in English, and at the end of February the jury will select the final song (it might also be revealed). Each member of the jury will get a link with all the songs and will vote individually via a form. Afterwards, they will have a Zoom meeting and the winning song will be revealed. The jury members will be presented one by one in the following weeks. The first jury member will be Dan Manoliu (HoD of Romania for 10 editions and artistic director of Selecția Națională and of other TVR shows). |

The 9 jury members that selected Roxen's song were revealed: The song will be revealed on 4 March and it was hinted that the title starts with "A", possibly "Alone" (Roxen kept on playing with this word on her Instagram stories and there was also a snippet from her song's video in which she seems to use this word). The 9 jury members that selected Roxen's song were revealed: mama they all look old :oop: Some of them yes, TVR keeps relying on the same old names for many years (for example Luminita Anghel, Andrei Tudor or Dan Manoliu). I was hoping that we could have some young and known singers that are relevant for Romanian music industry now, but they prefer to select radio people, TVR artistic directors or composers of old Romanian songs. |
