LAKADAMIA CONFIRMS.
The Lakadamian broadcaster is available to confirm Lakadamia's presence in the 23rd Fantasia Contest.
The Lakadamian entry will be selected via Mélodiya Lakadamia, which will be running for it's 5th edition now.
However, the national selection will see some changes that will get it back to "its roots":
• 11 Songs will be taking part
• All of the selected songs will be in the Lakadamian language.
• A set of International Juries will be selected, and which will represent 50% of the final result.
• A Gold Final will happen.
More to be revealed after the Grand Final Results.

 Dýria confirms!
Dyflinnjaborg • 26th September 2020DRTV, the  Dýrian broadcaster, has just confirmed that Dýria will be participating in the 23rd edition of the Fantasia Contest, making it the 23rd time that the northern country will be seen in the contest. The confirmation comes as no surprise due to high levels of interest within the country, with Fantasia Contest consistently ranking as the #1 most popular show in Dýria, even ahead of Late Night with Nene Leakes.As BRÍET represents us in  Ximbala City, DRTV is now preparing for the upcoming edition of the contest. Last night, the HoD spoke to Nene Leakes via video link for the first time about the recent edition, and how this motivates the country to continue participating:With BRÍET qualifying to the final in Ximbala City, it marks the 7th time in a row that Dýria has qualified to the grand final, which is something that we would have never expected if you asked us this question 22 editions ago! I am so proud of all our acts, as they represent our nation on the world stage. I am proud of how successful Dýria has been in the contest as well.Despite confirming, DRTV has yet to confirm how they will select their act for the 23rd edition. However, fans are now speculating online due to the fact that the HoD was speaking to Nene Leakes via video chat from  Norfort, the Decorian capital. Although the HoD hasn't commented on whether or not this trip was a personal vacation (or a day trip, since that is quite common for Dýrians to do) or a business trip, fans now believe that he is over in Norfort to discuss both Decoria's return to the contest, and the return of  Dýrcorifestivalen. It is yet to be seen whether or not these rumours are true, but the HoD has said that he will be making an announcement swiftly.

Shkeera confirms their participation in Fantasia Song Contest #23

Last night, at an impromptu press conference held outside Shkeera's second largest zoo in the city of Ardnooresk, Caomhán Dhúen, the head of entertainment affairs of Shkeera's national broadcaster STR (Scaoilesk Telefisio en Radiofisio), confirmed that  Shkeera will be present at Fantasia Song Contest's 23rd edition. After a disappointing result which saw the winner of Shkeera's first ever national final "Scaoilféile", HAELOS, fail to qualify from semi final two with their song "End of World Party" despite being tipped by many as a likely qualifier, and amidst decreased interest in the contest as a whole, the certainty of their participation was under threat and some insiders had reported that participation was "touch and go". However, last night Dhúen removed all uncertainty by confirming that Shkeera would send a song to this edition of Fantasia. It is unknown what significance the location of choice for this press conference, a zoo in the Irsan-speaking city of Ardnooresk, has in terms of Shkeera's upcoming theme for the contest, however insiders have speculated that this was merely a convenient place to hold a press conference given the filming of a new TV show there. Speaking last night, Dhúen said: "Bhféidir, ní raibh Shkeera an-láidir sa Comórtas Fantaisíocht, le ach dhá cáilaíochtaí, ach gach eagrán bhí amhranaí an-deas againn agus in ainneoin a bheith ainm nua sa gcomórtas, rinneamar dhá amhránaí sna top-10. Sna eagrán seo, tá Shkeera ag dul go dtí an tír óstach agus tá amhrán againn don comórtas."
(Shkeera may not have a strong track record of qualifying in this contest with only two qualifications from six attempts, however we have never been disgraced in the contest and despite being a relatively new name to the Fantasia world we have two top ten positions under our belt already and are looking to add to that with every edition. This edition, I can confirm that Shkeera will return to the contest and we have already chosen our preferred song for the contest.)In a further interview with Ceol Radiofisio 1 (CR1), Shkeera's number one music station, Dhúen said that viewers should "prepare themselves" as the song that they were intending to send was "an absolute whoppa".
This confirmation was met with the standard response, with previous delegation members welcoming the decision. |

 DECORIA RETURNS TO THE FANTASIA CONTEST!27 September 2020 • Norfort, Decoria Following their one edition abscence, today it was officially confirmed that Decoria will be returning to the Fantasia Contest for the 23rd edition! The Decorian broadcaster DRT also confirmed their selection process for the edition among plans for the next editions. Decoria is back with Dýrcorifestivalen!  Following the rumors circulating the last days regarding the Dýrian Head of Delegation having a meeting with the Decorian Head of Delegation and the possible return of both Decoria and Dýrcorifestivalen, it was officially confirmed today by DRT that both are indeed true. The two countries will be cooperating once again for the second ever Dýrcorifestivalen. "We unfortunately had to take a break last edition, but now we are glad to announce that we are back! We can also officially confirm that Dýrcorifestivalen 23 will be also taking place, and the plans for it are well underway. We are looking forward to working with the Dýrian delegation once again, and I'm sure it will be a great second edition, which will hopefully lead to many more."– Decorian Head of Delegation Dýrcorifestivalen 23 is confirmed to take place in Decoria this time, in the country's capital – Norfort. The format is said to be the same as in the first edition, with 5 songs from each country with the best scoring from each country representing their respective nation. The voting will once again consist of 8 international juries (accounting for 50% of the result) and televoting (the rest 50%). However, this time the juries will not be selected by the broadcasters internally, but following a short application phase. Ninelie Confirms Their Participation For Fantasia Contest #23
After Qualifying for the final already 3 times in a row, Ninelie is not giving up. Sadly this edition we won't be hosting a National Selection but Noi will personally select an artist and an entry which will represent us in the following months.

There are many options thus far that Noi is negotiating with including familiar and new faces. We're also considering a diversity when it comes to language, being Ninelie spoken, Everish or something completely else. More to be announced after the Results of the Current edition.

 Statement on Neocastria's participation
Neufchâteau • 27/09/2020After a third final in four participations, coupled with relative media and fan hype for   Yelle's entry "Karaté", it is without any surprise that Neocastrian broadcaster ADN confirmed that the landlocked Serican archduchy would take part in the 23rd edition of the Fantasia Contest. Indeed, President-General of the network Éliette Wanterthour confirmed the news in a press conference on Sunday morning.
"We are thrilled that Neocastria once again managed to put itself on the map. Hosting Fantasia last edition was a blessing for us, and the total financial benefits have far exceeded the cost of the event. The contest has in four editions become a flagship broadcast for ADN and it is simply not in our interest to back down now. Therefore, to the question of "will Neocastria participate in the 23rd Fantasia Contest?", I wholeheartedly answer by the affirmative."
It is effectively hard to say Ms. Wanterthour is wrong considering the very good ratings that the Fantasia Contest brings to the country's public broadcaster. Despite a rocky start in  #19 with Kota Banks' failure to qualify to the final, by  #20 the broadcast had picked up momentum, Yseult's sweeping rise to the top of the odds indeed helping a lot. 82% of households across the country were watching the Lephidross final, a sharp rise of 45 percentage points compared to the Torlovan show.
Our very own contest in Neufchâteau was the most watched event in the history of Neocastrian television, with the opening semi, in which the country had to vote, reaching a market share of 91%. Despite a small drop for the final, ADN blew its competitors (private channels TVI and La4) out of the water that night. It is no longer an exaggeration to state that Neocastria's heart beats to the melody of the Fantasia Contest.
Regarding the selection method for the twenty-third edition, the Archduchy's delegation has issued a rather vague declaration in which they said that the network was waiting for Yelle's result in Ximbala before deciding on anything. Rumours have indicated that /neowaves, the national final used ahead of the home-turf edition, might be brought back on air for the #23 pre-season, with no big changes regarding to the format.

NIOLSKIAJ CONFIRMS! With Holly Humberstone bringing  Niolskiaj back to the final for the first time this decade, Net Niolskiaj have once again not hesitated to confirm the Niol participation in the upcoming 23rd edition of the Fantasia Contest, regardless of Holly's result in Ximbala. Fans across the country have been pleasantly surprised by the positive reception "Falling Asleep at the Wheel" has received, with the odds predicting Niolskiaj to be a comfortable qualifier after two editions away from the final.
"We're so pleased that Holly's song has gone down so well across the world," a spokesperson for NN said in a statement released this morning, "niolstar has absolutely achieved what we wanted it to and we're so excited to expand that process and keep it going." In addition to the buzz around the Niol song, reports say viewing figures for the 22nd edition had increased from the previous three editions regardless of the Niol result, with social media interest in the contest rising again also.
As per the NN statement, another edition of niolstar will be held, though this time revamped to feature twelve songs from twelve different artists, as opposed to three songs from the same artist last time, "We're just looking to try out different things, rest assured, this edition of niolstar will showcase every last aspect of our rich, diverse and wonderful music industry.".

MOLY-BORONIA CONFIRMS 
Moly-Boronia will go back to its roots with the return of the Seeburg Festival as the National Selection. Rumours are that a foreign composer who has competed in FC before will return to the competition accompanied by a Boronian artist.
