ALLOCATION DRAW RESULTS
SANTIAGO, 27 NOVEMBER - the board of the international council for cities and music and tvn have held a press conference today regarding the upcoming third edition of the citivision song festival, to be held in santiago, 
chile. 29 cities have announced their presence at the contest and revealed their entries, therefore one semi-final will be held containing nineteen cities. eleven cities will qualify from this semi-final, joining ten automatically qualified cities for a total of twenty-one cities in the grand final.
the ten automatically qualified cities are made up of the top ten cities of the last edition that had confirmed for this edition. these cities are: santiago, 
kyiv, 
paris, 
gwangju, 
dallas, 
warsaw, 
london, 
sydney, 
vienna, and los angeles.
the allocation draw was also held during this press conference. both the semi-final and the final were split into two halves, with all cities being drawn into the first or second half of their respective show. santiago has also dawn its exact place in the grand final. this draw is done to avoid bias by way of the host broadcaster.
