Not meaning to start a drama or offending anyone, but judging from what they usually send and / or their typical results I'm not very surprised.  Also I may be wrong, but  Malta hardly ever wins in music contests in general and  Russian wins often take their times as well - at least I think so. Well  nowadays wins mostly with Foureira & Evangelia and both are among the singers which i want to avoid to send the most (No offence, i like them but i don't want to send Overused songs in general.) The problem is the current Greek music industry is not as strong as it was in the 2000s & Early 10s and it's not surprising that the Greece is not as successfull in the online contests as much as 6-7 years ago. Also another problem is that when something really good is released from that Country it will initially be Overused in the contests most of the time and therefore I won't be able to send it anymore, a problem which i don't have in the other countries i have in the contests. Oh I didn't know.  But well that's an explanation. Also Shovkovskyi/Peter I'm not going to quote the entire thing, but yeah luck also has a huge influence in these things. |

Congrats to  Finland, particularly for winning in your debut! Whilst I didn't give you points I still think it's a good entry. Same feelings with Malta for finally getting a top three spot, good song but not enough to crack my top ten  Of course I would have prefered   Canada to take the crown, but now loving both of Eli Rose's entries she is definitely an artist I'll be following  Happy for   Hungary,   Ukraine and  Portgual making the top ten, but I think  Russia,   France and   Slovenia are underrated  Regarding   Algeria, whilst I do love the song, and adore the French music industry, I agree with what has been said about seeing singers from Algeria itself. I am also defintely guilty of this too. As India is not techincally my country but instead where one of my parents is from, I find I have a bias for sending either diaspora singers or entries that fit a more European standard of music. Whilst not taking away the talent of those artists, I do still want to focus on sending amazing songs by local artists, especially when there is so much great talent. As someone who doesn't know many singers based in Algeria, it would be great to see some amazing songs from local singers too  |

What an exciting result video. I would have never guessed the winner. Congrats to Finland. That was pretty close. Happy to see yesyes in 6th place. It would be a great song for ESC imo. Such a pity Hungary withdrew. It's always great to see a small country in top 3.  Another positive surprise. Totally deserved top 10.  My  . 23rd place is very disappointing, especially with 3 sets of .       All of them could have been a bit higher. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------  11th in my semi. That's OK. Thanks to Hungary for But  from both hosts (  ) ?? Scandalous! ... Well, a black metal band which has only one photo of themselves on the whole internet is coming... (and that photo is black-and-white) |
