Podersdorf am See! Here in this thread you can discuss everything about our 88th Edition! 
The submissions officially start now! Deadline: Monday, 21st of December @ 22:00 CET!
The rules of the last editions apply, here they are:
IMPORTANT: Confirming isn't enough, just a submitted song guarantees your place in the upcoming edition! Only the first 51 spots are safe, the people submitting afterwards will take part in a Pre-Qualification Round and compete for the 3 remaining spots, making it a field of 54 in the "main competition"! The maximum number of entries so that there is no Pre-Qualification Round is 55.
Already reserved are the hosts, the Top 3 from last edition and those who voted as members in the Rest of The World Jury last edition. If any of these fail to submit an entry in time, the reserved place will be lost.
We're looking forward to receiving your entries!
If you want, you may include a timeslot/recap part in your post; note that 24 seconds of each entry are played in the recap.
Timeslots should ideally be added before the submission deadline, otherwise they might not be considered for the recaps anymore!
If you plan to permanently withdraw or to skip this edition, please let us know as early as possible.

Podersdorf am See is a village at the Lake Neusiedl, which is the largest endorheic lake in Central Europe and which is located in the East of Austria (federal state Burgenland) and in the West of Hungary. This region is mainly famous for tourism, (water) sports and for special lake-related flora and fauna. Burgenland has never been host of any WWWSC event, so the lake Neusiedl region and Podersdorf am See are glad to welcome you there!

Mozambique and flagswaziland Eswatini himself. The plan was to record an album with combinations of modern electronic sounds and traditional African chants as an ode to the continent (the video contains some things as well).
Angelique Kidjo who applied for a participation. And let's be honest who'd turn that down? Together they recorded a song that celebrates life in all its ups and downs. I don't know the language (obvsly), but considering that it's based on samples from 
Tanzania, I assume it's in Swahili.

I like that I'm not the only one going for something very related to a different continent.
