Song 4: Muanapoto - Tshegue [3:24]Tsegue is a duo based in Paris consisting of vocalist Faty Sy Savanet (who was born and raised in Kinshasa, moving to Paris at the age of 8) and multi-instrumentalist Nicolas 'Dakou' Dacunha. The duo performs primarily in Lingala, the language of the streets in the DRC. Muanapoto will be the second entry of the DRC to be performed in Lingala, after KOKOKO! & Nyangombe's track L.O.V.E. Muanapoto itself means People From the First World, and is about Faty's irritation with their brushing off of their privilege. Ironically enough, Muanapoto was used by Rihanna in an advert for her Fenty Beauty makeup to announce that the line is coming to Eastern Asia.
