Central African Republic confirms! It’s very likely that I’ll change country if something decent becomes free after last edition’s very unpleasant result.

MAURITIUS CONFIRMS AFTER SUCCESSFUL HOSTING
MBC, the Mauritian broadcaster, declared hosting the 4th Own Africavision Song Contest on home soil a huge success. Visitors from all over Africa and the world gathered in the small and colorful island. Profits of the nation's tourism industry spiked massively as beaches, services, and other tourist spots were as lively as ever. Although locals were hoping for the world's youngest country, South Sudan, to win it all with Akon Makeer's patriotic track "Star Flag I Love You, My Country I Love You," the whole island continued to celebrate into the late hours after South Africa's Monark and their track "Soldier" was announced the winner.
Today, the broadcaster eagerly confirms its participation in the 5th Own Africavision Song Contest to be held in the equally colorful South Africa. The selection for the upcoming act is already underway, and it will most likely be made internally.

SENEGAL CONFIRMS
The Senegalese Broadcaster STSD announced the country is excited to participate again in Own Africavision Song Contest, after our incredible representative Sarahmée represented us with the song "Freedom" and carried us to an amazing 11th place.
There are not many details about how is the organization going to select their entry or if they already chose an entry but due to COVID19 they may be thinking in a past representative, but anyways they are receiving requests from native and foreign acts of Senegalese descent. The only thing confirmed is their participation in the edition that'll be hold somewhere in South Africa.

It's obviously no surprise to announce the Southafrican presence in the 5th edition of the contest. We are really excited to welcome all of you in our beautiful nation for the 5th edition after the surprising victory of Monark with their song "Soldier" in Port Louis. Despite hosting the event our country will continue the tradition of Kaapstad Musiekfees for yet another edition. You'll hear more from us soon and we're hoping you'll enjoy your stay in South Africa.
