Tunis, Tunisia - 21st November 2020ERTT has finally confirmed that  Tunisia will participate in the 5th edition of Own Africavision Song Contest, to be held in  South Africa. Unusually, Tunisia happened to be the last country from the previous edition to confirm or withdraw; the delay was due to uncertainty surrounding participation, with some in the team wishing to withdraw while others wishing to continue as normal. The decision was made to keep participating however, due to high interest within the country.
As usual, the Tunisian entry will be selected internally. ERTT is accepting submissions from both local artists and the Tunisian diaspora. Despite the success of one particular potato quality song last edition, ERTT has once again stated that potato songs are less likely to be considered in the selection process. |
