On January 6, Laotian-American Hmong artist
Ka Lia Universe was officially confirmed as the landlocked country’s representative in the twenty-fifth edition of the Asian-Pacific music competition. This is going to be marked as the first time for Laos and probably for the contest to have Hmong language grace the stage.Eight songs entirely or majorly in Hmong language from Ka Lia’s discography will be considered by the viewers during the online show regarde:LAO held by the Lao broadcaster. The winning song will be performed by Ka Lia’s in
Taiwan as the twenty-fifth Lao entry in the contest.
