Slovenian entry As it's the National Selection season, I decide to send a song that participated in a National Selection. But to your surprise, the song didn't take part at EMA, but in the Irish National Selection in 2008, where they decided for Dustin The Turkey to fly the flag. Maja Slatinšek - Time to RiseHope you like it ^^

This is the first section, titled "Sunrise", of Strauss' tone poem "Also sprach Zarathustra", which is inspired by Friedrich Nietzsche's philosophical novel of the same name.

Ireland will also finally make their comeback after last participating in the 97th edition.
And well, we will be sending an artist that has represented us twice before. Lasairfhíona returns with her version of a traditional Irish song known as Casadh an tSúgáin. Her version was released in 2002 as part of her album, An Raicín Álainn.
Timeslot: TBA (sorry sjdh)
If you want to know more about the song, here is a link to a blog post explaining more about it. More recently, an Irish-American band known as The Gloaming made their own version of it, but since it was released in 2016 I couldn't send it here.
