The purpose of the song was originally to react to sexist lyrics used by a rapper called Cuizinier in his songs. The video was posted by Yelle - who was unknown at that time - on MySpace in 2005. She was far to imagine that her song would became viral and launch her career...

I also don't see the point of many things around me but I just accept them as long as they are not affecting me - an advice for you to follow too, unless my spoiler bothers you that much. |
