Suggestions & Feedback

Last year in August, the SCF Staff made an announcement regarding perceived elitism in the community. We explained our view of things and announced several actions that we were going to take to combat this issue. One of those plans was the creation of a suggestion and feedback thread, in which every forum member is able to share their opinions on how the forum is run. Today, it's time to make that promise a reality.

While the community's center is mainly based on the Discord server, a lot of activity still takes place on the main SCF website and there are many users who are active there but not on the Discord server. Of course, those users also deserve their voices and opinions to be heard and Discord users certainly also have opinions about the main website. How do you feel about the way the forum is run? What feedback do you have to give? What suggestions would you like the Staff to consider? On the Discord server, we have the #suggestions channel for these questions and from now on, this thread will take the same function on the Forum website itself.
If you have any suggestions or feedback you'd like to share with the Staff and the rest of the community, simply post your opinion below! Every serious suggestion and every constructive feedback is welcome, whether it's positive, about something you like, or negative, about something you dislike, so feel free to share your thoughts!

Recently we have also been made aware of the fact, that some users might feel uncomfortable to share their opinion in a public thread, where everyone can see it and possibly post a reply. First of all, we'd like to express, that every opinion is allowed to be posted here (as long as it doesn't break any Forum rules of course) and we'd prefer for suggestions and feedback to be posted in this thread. That being said, some users might wish to avoid posting in this thread, but would still like to share their opinion. Those users can submit their suggestions and feedback anonymously through this form. Only the Forum Staff will have access to the submissions and since the form is anonymous, we won't know who the users behind the submissions are.

We hope that every member of the Song Contest Forums will feel encouraged to share their opinions with us, the Staff is looking forward to hear them!
