THE OPENING MATCH ❀ DAY 1 並盛 (Kinoshita! (Holland )

The Neocastrian team got the second half kick off, and capitalised quickly, as in the 48th minute, striker Aurélian Briand put a shot through the legs of Namimorish keeper Morisuke Yaku. The Neocastrian goal fired up the Namimorish offence, as striker Ushijima Wakatoshi took a shot from outside of the box, and it found the top right corner in the 64th minute. However, that wouldn’t be the last time Wakatoshi would score, as in the 80th minute, he headed in a corner from Iizuna Tsukasa. Despite the efforts of the Neocastrian side, they were unable to capitalise on their efforts. In front of their home crowd, the Namimorish side took the first match of the tournament, 2-1.

After the spectacular opening ceremony and the first match with the victory grabbing by the host country Namimori against Neocastria by 2-1 in Isogai, the tournament has reached the second day with matches from the first three group being continuing throughout the country of Namimori.
(Jacob )
Following the opening match of the tournament, the flag Drevona Drevonan team went up against the Gasandaen side. This match would prove to be a wash, as the Drevonan side struck in the 8th minute. Marius Reutas put a shot under the outstretched arms of Gasandaen keeper flaggasande Morohashi Yukitoyo. Reutas struck again in the 38th, with a curling shot up in the top right corner. Emilis Stralys was the next one to strike, with a shot off of the post in the 45+1 minute. At the half, Drevona was up 3-0. This wouldn’t be the last time that Drevona would score, as Stralys scored once again in the 68th minute. And yet, Stralys wasn’t satisfied. He scored once more, in the 72nd minute, capping off a hat trick for the midfielder. The final whistle blew, and Drevona took the first win of their campaign, 5-0.
Group B’s first match was held in Chikara City between the nations of flag Pohunskia Pohunskia and Fordia. The Fordians would strike early, with striker Ante Hirtl putting a shot in the back of the Pohunskian net early on in the match, specifically in the 10th minute. However, despite that lightning fast start, the Fordians wouldn’t use that momentum for any further goals in the first half. Sadly for fans of high-scoring football, the second half would replicate the latter part of the first half, with neither team scoring. With the final whistle, Fordia won their first match of the tournament, 1-0.
The southern Serican nation of Yster would play in front of what felt like a home crowd in Mori, against the Sakodan side of Sirenforest. Ysterian striker Cui Zhenya would take a number of attempts, but none managed to find the back of the netting. The whistle for halftime blew, and it was still 0-0. Sirenforest would take the advantage of the second half, but even with the attacks put on by striker Alex Burns, nothing else found the back of the net. With the final whistle, the scoreboard was still scoreless.
With the final group of match day one finally under way, the Dýrian team played the Vremd team. Unfortunately for the pair, the first half was quite uneventful. The second half though, was the exact opposite. In the 72nd minute, Dyrian striker Nóe Ó hÁodhagan put a dribbler in the bottom left corner past the Vremd keeper Yannick de Jager. Every subsequent attempt the Vremd team put at the Dýrian half, the Dýrian team would boot the ball down the pitch. The final whistle blew, and Dyria came out on top 1-0.
(Luiri )
Closing off match day 2, the team from Torlova took on the team from Lakadamia. Torlova got off to a quick start, with Shawqi al Murad taking a strike past the arms of Lakadamian keeper Emanuel Kiriluk in the 8th minute. Shamefully for the Lakadamian side, they weren’t able to capitalise off any strikes to even the score. The first half ended, with Torlova up 1-0. Lakadamia came out of the second half guns blazing, and their striker Mira Wiedeman scored in the 52nd minute, with a shot that went between the legs of Torlovan keeper Eyüp Değirmencioğlu. Both sides were unable to score anymore goals, at least until the 88th minute, when Torlovan striker Bishara Amini bent a corner kick directly in. With the final whistle, the Torlovan squad took their first match of the tournament, 2-1.

Raising the tension levels after the first three group finished their first matches, the groups stage has reached the third match day and the first two matches of the groups D to F in Namimori, before the competition will shift to the other half of hosting Qasentria tomorrow.
Even though the stadium were full of exciteness from the fans, today, much more local attendees were joining and getting fun with the competition today as it was the Ritsu Sakuma Day, so called the National Lazy Day. Today as well, one of our official sponsors Kit Kat Namimori branch, had released a special set of Namisentria 2021 Kit Kat containing flavors inspired by local traditional sweets from 15 host cities such as Four Seasonal Ttoek from Maehwa, Mango and Sticky Rice from Asuka, Tarte des fruits qasentrianne from Marianne and Anmitsu from Seishin. Delightful appetizer before the match or memorable souvenir… This special Kit Kat could be a wisely amazing choice for you in that case! Check it now in every stores in Namisentria or online at kitkat.nm.
Starting match day 3 in Sunwoo was the match between the Hwae team against the Dormans. Hwaesonna got off the first goal, with a strike from defender Seo Dong-hyeok off of a penalty in their own half of the pitch in the 27th minute, but that lead wouldn’t last very long, as Oh Sang-cheol would cheekily tap a ball past the Hwae keeper Choi Jeong-woo only 11 minutes later. And yet, the Hwae team wouldn’t let that be the score at the half, as in the 44th minute, Son Min-ki took a penalty kick into the back of the Dorman net. Unfortunately, the second half would be fruitless, as neither could score again, leaving the final score as 2-1 in favour of Hwaesonna.
Next up, the Zylofonijan team would take on the hosts of the 2018 FANA World Cup Hosts of Levalle. Zylofonija scored first, as Rilwan Nwulu put a header from Kevin Munkola into the back of the Levallese net in the 33rd minute. The score at half would remain as 1-0 in favour of the Zylofonijan team. Levalle would score first in the second half, as in the 51st minute, Adam Kujtkowski took a shot and it ricochetted off of the leg of Adegoke Abubakar into the back of the net. Both sides would attack and counterattack for the rest of the half, until Nwulu’s shot in the 90+2 minute found the back of the net. The final whistle blew, and Zylofonija took the match 2-1.
The next match to begin was the match between the Kazkyans and the Foxtavians. Neither team would score in the first half, but in the second half, it took a while to see the first goal, but it came from Kazkya in the 69th minute, with a strike from Javier Coello past the keeper Charilaos Varsamas. Foxtavia wouldn’t get any chances to counter attack, as Kazkya would park the ball back in the back of their half. The final whistle blew, and Kazkya took the win 1-0.
Next to the pitch was the Jareans up against the Niols. Niolskiaj had been on a bit of a downturn lately, with them being knocked out of the group stage of the Confederations Cup. Unfortunately, they wouldn’t strike first, as Jarean striker Kezuka Yukikaze would put a shot past the keeper Artem Chornyi in the 33rd minute. Niolskiaj would answer back in exactly 6 minutes later, with a bicycle kick from Ilja Sharov. Halftime would come, and it was tied 1-1. Jarea opened off the second half, and they would score 10 minutes after the half opened, with Kezuka striking once again. However, it wouldn’t be the last time they’d score, as in the 71st, midfielder Nakamura Hiroya put another shot past Chornyi. It would only take until the 79th minute to have the final goal of the game, with Kwon Sung-hwa placing a shot neatly between Chornyi’s legs. With the end of the game finally decided, Jarea walked away with a massive win of 4-1 over the Niols.
(Dimitris )
Next up, the Scandavian squad took on the Decorian team in the heart of Chikara City. The match would be a quite uneventful one until the 82nd minute, when Ingemar Foresberg put a shot just outside of the reach of Maurice Göbig. Scandavia took a few more opportunities through the rest of the miniscule time left in the match, but none would go in. With the final whistle, the score read out as 0-1.
(Aless )
Finishing the last of the first matches in Namimori was the Southern Serican nation of Yeukiwan going up against the winners of the Confederations Cup, Aquia. As soon as the match started, the stadium realised that Yeukiwan felt like a middle school team going up against a team of seasoned professionals. There were times when the Aquian defence would juggle the ball between them, having the Yeukiwanese attack run between them. Aquia would toy with them, until the 44th minute, when Rui put a ball through the hands of Ko Jong-in. With the second half, the 70th minute saw another instance of Aquian mercy, with Rui once again being the one to put it in the back of the net. With the end of the match in sight, Aquia took the first match 0-2.

The competition has finally moved to the other half of the hosting duo, Qasentria. The nations from groups G-I would take on one another, with the supporting help of one of our sponsors, Bandoren. Bandoren is one of Qasentria's primary manufacturers of instrument parts, and alongside with Mayaha, a special line of instruments and parts made exclusively for the World Cup. You can get one of these yourself at one of the countless instrument stores in Namisentria or online at bandoren.qa/namisentria
Qasentria began their matches in their home nation in the city of Gaoxiang, up against the nation of flagvacansca Vacansca. Fans from all nations came into the city of Gaoxiang and the largest stadium in Serica, Gaoxiang Lotus Flower Stadium and it’s 100,000 person capacity. A parade of Qasentrian musicians came by to open off the nations tournament run. The Qasentrian fans had high hopes for the team with the hot streak the nation was on, and they were not disappointed by the match, as in the 3rd minute, the agender dynamo Sylvain Hayle put a shot between the legs of Vacanscan keeper flagvacansca Yela Markan. The stadium erupted in cheers, and the fire of the Qasentrian team burned hotter than it had prior. Some time passed before Hayle ended up striking again, this time in the 39th minute with a scorpion kick. At the half, the score was 2-0. The second half was quiet for a while, until Hayle found a stray pass from the subbed-on midfielder Sou Iu Fai in the 69th minute, capping off their hat trick. Vacansca would have an attempt emerge in the 80th, as flagvacanska Breno Jeanes found an opportunity to strike, but the shot drilled Yi Ha Jun square in his face and out of bounds. The final whistle blew, and the home nation took the victory by a final score of 3-0, all thanks to Sylvain Hayle. MATCH ❀ 14 ヒンバラ (Jmain ) vs タスラナ (CHAE WITH A C )
Also on the western side of the nation, Ximbala took on the team from Taslana. Taslana came in as a massive underdog, and seeked to prove themselves as a legitimate threat. The first half didn’t seem to showcase this, until the 44th minute. Midfielder Kim Talisker (no relation to the Torlovan-Corzazji-Namimorish-Lakadamian singer/producer) put a shot off of the post and gave Taslana a 1-0 edge at the half. That wouldn’t be the last time we would hear from Talisker, as in the 68th minute, he would strike again, with a shot from past the edge of the box that went into the top corner. Ximbala would have a successful attempt in the 82nd minute, with striker Danilo Llofriú putting a shot in the net, but it wouldn’t be enough to surpass the Taslanan squad, who took the match 1-2.
Next up on the slate would be the nations of Moly-Boronia and Freyhurst. While they were pitted in the smallest stadium, the energy was only surpassed by the massive match in Gaoxiang. Neither team would strike in the first half, and the second half was quiet, until the 85th minute, when Tobias Kuhne put in a stray Freyhurstian pass into the back of the net. The stadium erupted in cheers, but the elation wouldn’t last long, as only 4 minutes later, Jason Jones put a ball in the back of the Boronian net. The whistle blew and the match ended in a 1-1 tie.
(Lux )
Next up to the pitch was the match between the Tritonian nation of Sincuerello up against the Latinican side of Glaiola. Sincuerello started off hot, with Zytomir Sobolewicz scoring in the 11th minute. Glaiola would have attack after attack after attack across both halves, but the Glaiolans would fail to put a ball past Daniel Radler. The final whistle blew, and it read the same score as it had for most of the match. 1-0 in favour of Sincuerello.
(Blandine )
The next match would be one between two juggernauts in FANA, between fellow Southern Sericans Llort up against Prunia. The match would be a tug of war between the pair, and despite the numerous attempts each had, neither team would strike before halftime. However, the Prunians would strike first. In the 53rd minute, Robin Nenter would put a single tap past a diving Mahesh Chakraborty. Even with all of the attempts put on by the Llortish side, the final whistle blew, and Prunia took this match 0-1.
(Julian )
The final match of day one would be one that pitted the debuting side of Achroa up against the Lanovinan team. The Lanovinans would strike first and fast, with Peter Kastrup scoring in the 8th minute. Nothing else exciting happened over the first half. But with the second half under way, Achroa made a number of attempts, with one even being successful, as Graham Murray put a penalty into the top left corner in the 69th minute. That didn’t sit well with Lanovina, who struck back in the 81st with another goal by Kastrup, and once more for good measure in the 86th with a goal by Eric Anissou. With the final whistle blown, Lanovina took their first win of the tournament 1-3.

Reaction of Prunian coach Noah Sierras« We faced a tough llortish team but we managed to be more effective, defensively in particular. It was a high-level match, Llort made us struggle but we didn't fail. Different points can of course be improved, but we already have the right state of mind and we must keep this collective strength. »

The competition has finally moved to the other half of the hosting duo, Qasentria. The nations from groups J-L would take on one another, with the supporting help of one of our sponsors, Qasentriair. Qasentriair is the official airline of the nation of Qasentria, and with flights going to almost every nation in Fantasia, both teams and fans from all across the continent flew to Namisentria on the wings of Qasentriair.
Opening the final day of first matches for the tournament, the Ruyjin Republic took on the reigning champions of the FANA World Cup, Hansaaria. The Ruyjinese team struck first, with Alexey Yashin sticking a shot past Erko Koivu in the 36th minute. Neither team would find the back of the net, and Ruyjin took the first match 1-0, putting yet another blemish on the reigning season of Hansaaria.
Next up to the pitch, the froots of Frootania up against the only other Serican nation to host the FANA World Cup, Wedse. The Froots struck first, with Lavrentios Vallellis putting a shot in the top corner in the 31st minute. At the half, the Froots led 1-0. However, the Wedsen team wouldn’t let that be the final score, as Swɢ́eshýlɢ́eshar Inqu received a pass from Źııç̀nı Lã in the 49th, and Inqu put the ball in the back of the net, past the arms of Victoras Markou. Inqu and Lã would strike again in the 62nd just like in the 49th. And the Wedsen duo would cap off Inqu’s hat trick in the 77th. Frootania wouldn’t have any chance to score, and Wedse won the match 1-3.
The next match to begin was the match between the Eldancan side against the Lidonians. Unfortunately for the Eldancans, their streak of flops continued today. This match was simply the Carsten Grebe show. Grebe struck first in the 28th, then in the 52nd, then in the 69th, and finally 88th, all through the legs of Juan Bautista Forestier. With the final whistle, Grebe and the Lidonians took their first match of the tournament, 0-4.
Now up to the match are the two largest nations in Serica, Flirskmasto in the north, and Katsyria in the south. The Flirsk team would strike first, with Mikhail Zakharov putting a strike in the 22nd minute past Zeng Jia Hao. The second half got under way, and a quick play led Alexandr Suprun to put another shot past Zeng in the 47th. Katsyria wouldn’t go down without a fight, as Yin Xie Ren put a penalty kick past Sergey Ocheredin in the 72nd minute. Flirskmasto would finish off the Katsyrians in the 90+1 minute, with another goal from Suprun. With the final whistle blown, Flirskmasto proved they were the best of the massive Serican nations by winning 3-1.
(Eke )
Opening off the final group, the Sylvanese side took on the Everish team. Unfortunately for fans of exciting football, neither team has been known to play very exciting football. Neither team seemed to desire a win, and attacks were few and far between. Shamefully, the score at the beginning of the match was the same score at the final.
(Wysteria )
Thankfully, the anti-climatic match previously wouldn’t be the last one for the final day of first matches. The Angosturans would go up against the Nineliese. Angostura would strike first, with a goal in the 42nd, with Gustavo Almada’s shot going past the keeper Sakata Yuu. However, Ninelie would score before the half was up, with Sakigawa Yasutaka scoring in the 45+4, past the arms of Miguel Lemari. Ultimately, Ninelie would have the last laugh, with a goal once again by Sakigawa in the 68th minute. With the final whistle blown, Ninelie capped off the first batch of matches in Qasentria with a victory, 1-2. Join us tomorrow unfortunately in Namimori.

We return to Namimori, where the host nation would take on Drevona. The first half would get off in an explosive fashion, as Marius Reutas would strike first, with a laser past Yaku Morisuke in the 7th minute. The Namimorish side would attempt to answer back, but sadly, none of their attacks would score in the first half. The Namimorish team started off the second half with the ball, but Reutas saw an opening in the 52nd, and swiped the ball. Reutas would keep up with the ball, and set up Izaokas Gecas only 4 minutes later. Namimori would keep trying to score, but none of their attempts would go in the net. Drevona would end up taking this match in front of the fanatical Namimorish fans, 0-2. Despite the disappointment and sadness from the host country’s side, luckily, there were none of riots happened after the match.
A bloodbath was brewing in Maehara, as the Neocastrian squad would go up against the Gasandaean squad. Neocastria would strike first, as Aurélian Briand tapped a shot in after only a single minute passed. Briand would strike again in the 22nd minute. Rikka Kakuzou would try to patch the wound in the 28th, but Briand had none of it, and finished off the hat trick in only 39 minutes. Wakai Keii scored in the 45th, so at the half, the scoreboard read 3-2. Briand would tack yet another goal on in the 73rd, and that would be all from this bloodbath. Neocastria would emerge victorious, 4-2.
AAfter that exciting match, the Pohunskian team would go up against the Ysterian team. Neither team found the back of the net in their previous match, and would hunger for a goal. Yster would be the first to taste this feeling, as Cui Zhenya would find He Shichang in the 28th for their first goal. The roles would be reversed in the 41st, and at the half, Yster was on top 0-2. However, the second half would be Pohunskia’s. Gareth Wyn Stead would get his first goal in the tournament in the 61st minute. Stead would strike yet again in the 82nd, to end the match in a 2-2 draw.
Next up to the pitch, the Fordians took on the Sirenforestians. Nothing exciting happened in the first half, but come the second, the goals finally rolled in. Alex Burns curled a shot into the top left corner in the 68th. However, the Fordians would not go down without a fight. Fitim Behrens scored in the 79th, past the outstretched arms of Peter Dawkin. The final whistle blew, and the match ended in a tie.
(Luiri )
The animosity in the stadium was at electric levels. The nations of Lakadamia and Dýria would compete against each other in the wildest match in the group. Lakadamia would start off hot, with Mira Wiedeman scoring in the 8th, and once again in the 17th. However, the Dýrian side wouldn’t let that slide, and Nóe Ó hÁodhagan would get a shot in that barely scraped past the line in the 28th. The Lakadamian keeper, Emanuel Kiriluk, was not on board with that call and began to argue with the referees. To try and keep him in check, Thierry Lepidi slapped Kiriluk. Lepidi’s slap was way harder than he intended, and Kiriluk appeared quite out of his element. Taking full advantage of the incapacitated Kiriluk, Ó hÁodhagan would score 4 more goals in rapid sucession, with goals in the 31st, 33rd, 37th, and 39th. Kiriluk was eventually subbed off, and the gash opened up by Ó hÁodhagan would slow at the half, with Dýria on top 2-5. Dyria got to kick off the second half, and a new striker would get his chance in the limelight, Brynjar Kjartansson. Kjartansson put the opening ball in the Lakadamian net in the 48th, and another one in the 63rd. The Dýrians were feeling merciful, and let Nico Qvist score in the 73rd. Kjartansson would cap off the match with a final goal in the 84th. The bleeding would cease with the final whistle, and Dýria won this massacre 7-3.
(Alper )
The final match of the day would have a lot to live up to, and unfortunately, they wouldn’t meet the excitement that the match in Cyrille-Toman had. Bishara Amini would start off the match with a goal in the 39th. At the half, Torlova was on top. Amini would strike again in the 69th, and just for good measure, Shawqi al Murad capped off the match with a goal in the 90+3 minute. With the whistle blown, Torlova took this match 0-3. And this is the end of possibly, one of, if not the scariest day of FANA World Cup. Stay tune for the next three group’s destiny tomorrow!

We are back in Namimori today for the seventh day of the group stage. This time it’s a turn of countries from group D, E and F to return to the stadium for their second match. Let’s take a look for the results.

Opening off the final day of week 1 was the Hwaesonnan and the Zylofonijan teams. Hwaesonna would strike first with a corner kick that Kwon Jin-woo curled directly into the net in the 28th minute. That single goal lead wouldn’t last for very long, as in the 42nd minute, Rilwan Nwulu put a shot directly through the legs of Choi Jeong-woo. The second half would have no more goals scored, and the match ended with a 1-1 tie. MATCH ❀ 32 도르마 (fuerte (inactive) ) vs 레발 (𝐌𝐈𝐂𝐇𝐀𝐋 )
Next up the Dorman side would take on the Levallese. Levalle would get a hot start, with Marcin Kostrubala putting a shot into the top corner in the 10th minute. Next up to the stage was the Kazkya up against Jarea. The first half was quiet, and nothing interesting came out of the half. The second half was quite quiet, however, until Kezuka Yukikaze stole a pass from Jorge Leiva, and put a shot in the back of the net in the 79th minute. Javier Coello would come roaring back in the 88th minute to tie the match up. The whistle blew and the match was tied 1-1.

The next match was between the Foxtavian side up against the Niol side. Niolskiaj started the match off with a goal by Ilja Sharov in the 22nd minute. Not everything was glittery for the Niol team, as in the 33rd minute, Vladimir Terekhov slid in front of Nikos Papadomanolakis to try and prevent a shot, but the ball ended up in the back of the net. Terekhov was booked for the own goal. At the half, the match was tied at one goal a piece. However, the match took a turn for the Niol team, as Storm Abe went and took two goals into the back of the net in rapid succession, in the 63rd and 69th minutes respectively. Foxtavian attempts to score were blocked by the Niol squad, and Niolskiaj took the win 1-3.

The final match of the day would be held between Decoria and Aquia. The first half was a quite quiet one, however, Willian would clear a ball in the 45+5 minute, and somehow the ball took 2 bounces and went into the back of the net, past Anders Hansen’s outstretched arms. In the 68th minute, Coelho struck a shot off of Hansen’s hand, and it went into the net. The final whistle blew, and Aquia got the win, 0-2. Thank you for watching, and we will be back tomorrow sadly in Qasentria.

After the exciting matches in meh, the match groups stage have now come back to the better half of the duo, West Namimori Qasentria. Countries from groups G, H and I will fight in their second battle today and it seems like the tension levels is rising and rising. The post would've come at a more apt time, but a lightning strike on the QBA's main tower, which temporarily knocked out the power in the tower, which erased the scripts written. Our unpaid interns have been hard at work putting together this in a quick manner, having binge watched the matches and all that jazz.
(Jmain )
Opening off the second batches of matches, the Qasentrian team would go up against the Ximbalese team. Qasentria got off to a fast start, with Sylvain Hayle putting a ball through the legs of Carlos Benítez in the 4th minute. The rest of the first half was quite uneventful, and Ximbala opened off the second half. It took until the 90+2 minute for the next goal to be scored, and it was from Hayle once again, this time with an assist from Robin Aiza. The final whistle blew, and Qasentria took the match 2-0. MATCH ❀ 38flagvacansca 바칸스까 (B3STBEATS ) vs 타스라나 (CHAE WITH A C )
The next match to begin was the match between the flagvacansca Vacanscan squad up against the Taslanan team. The first half was quiet, but flagvacansca Breno Jeanes scored in the 44th minute to close off the first half. Vacansca would get off to a fast start, with flagvacansca Caleb Triggs scoring in the 48th minute. Triggs would find the back of the net in the 62nd minute once again, and the Vacanscan squad went on the defensive, preventing the Taslanan team from scoring. With the final whistle blown, the Vacanscan team won 3-0. MATCH ❀ 39 모리 보로니아 (Queen of Mean (Inactive) ) vs 신쿠앨로 (Jakub )
Next up to the pitch was the match between Moly-Boronia and Sincuerello. The first half was silent, with neither team making any attempt to score. Moly-Boronia would take the opening kick off, and capitalise on it, with Luka Jaksic catching the Sincuerellese defence off guard, culminating in a goal in the 46th minute. Sincuerello would come roaring back, scoring 3 goals in rapid succession. Zytomir Sobolewicz scored all three goals, in the 52nd, 59th, and 64th minutes. Murray would strike once again in the 45th minute, putting Achroa up by 1 at half. Novan Mogigir would score in the 78th to tie the match up, and Singh Bisht would close the match off in the 90+6 minute, giving Llort the win 3-2.
