Good luck to the best of them both.
MATCH ❀ 104
フォルディア (kev ) vs トロバ (Alper )
The 104th and final match of the tournament was finally held today. In Gaoxiang the Gaoxiang Lotus Flower Stadium was packed to the brim, with well over 100,000 fans packed into the stadium. The pregame featured performances by Thuy performing her song "In My Bag" to get the crowd in a sporting mood, with Akintoye and his song "Overload" getting the match in a perfect mood for the match.
With the performances over, the match got under way. It was a quiet first half, with numerous attempts from both sides that went out of bounds or were blocked out. At least, until the 40th minute, when Ante Hirtl crossed a ball into the box, where Jens Hillebrand put the ball past Eyüp Degirmencioglu to give Fordia the lead at the half.
During the halftime festivities, the QBA announced that they would reveal the 6 artists from the Qasentrian half of Singing Man Namisentria: Act 3 that would advance to the final of the edition. The 15 artists representing the 12 songs came onto the pitch.
The first artist announced to be in the final was Gyeong Ree. The former member of the legendary girl group 9Muses was asked to participate when an act previously entered in the competition withdrew due to personal reasons, and she now is in the final.
The second artist announced to be in the final was Do Hanse. The rapper and member of boygroup Victon recently released his solo debut album, with his music video for Take Over featuring some of the biggest drag names in Hongbe, something nobody was expecting when it was unveiled.
The third act to get to into the final was S.Lao. A poet by trade, S.Lao was the second artist from Xiaozha to make it to the finals of Singing Man Namisentria. S.Lao is also from the same suburb that the Lotus Flower Stadium, and when they were announced, the stadium erupted.
The fourth act to get the ticket to the final was Primary featuring Jade. Primary was a producer from Hwaesonna based in Kwanyeoung, where Jade, a Hongbese artist based in Mairault, was born.
The fifth ticket went to EMPiRE. The Yukonominan pop group was formed recently, and is the most palatable of the groups under WACK Entertainment, at least according to the non-Yukonominans.
The final ticket of the night went to BiSH. The older sister group to EMPiRE, this group is more known by their chameleon style with their music.
After the reveal of the finalists from Qasentria in Singing Man Namisentria 3, the second half got underway. Hillebrand scored twice in quick succession, with the goals coming in the 59th and 68th minutes. Torlova could not answer back, and the final whistle blew.
Congratulations to Fordia, coming from being a third place in the group stage to winning the tournament. The 3-0 win marks the first time that Fordia got their flowers, with numerous top 4 placements, but no win. The title has now boarded a flight to our hosts from the last FANA World Cup. Thank you so much for coming down to Namisentria for the 2021 FANA World Cup. This has been the better half of Namisentria, signing off.
