Slovenian entry For this edition, I've decided to travel to the 90s. The entry is a collaboration between two debuting acts. Avia Band is a Slovenian band formed by elementary school students in 1982 and disbanded in 2007 to form two other bands. They took part in EMA in 1995 as well as in 1999, they placed 3 rd and 4 th respectively. Sendi was born in Bosnia to a Bosnian mother and a Slovenian father. She lived in Bosnia until the age of 7 and lived in Slovenia ever since. Sendi was a part of 8 different groups in the 90s as well as a soloist. She was a backing vocal to our 1993 and 1998 Eurovision entries. Together they present to us a song from 1996 in the techno-pop music genre: Avia Band & Sendi - Vedno ob tebi [Always Beside You] Hope you like it ^^

FRANCE France will host this edition in Nice. Welcome everybody on the Promenade des Anglais!
We focused our researches on the 1980s, like for the previous pre-2000 edition. We also wanted an artist with a close connection with the city, and the singer we chose is from the neighbourhood of the city. Pascale Schembri had several careers. As a dancer and a choreographer, she worked with Elton John for his massive hit I'm Still Standing and with Sylvie Vartan for one of her tours. She also worked as a TV presenter for Vitaboum (a program for children). She is also known as a songwriter. She worked with many artists like Michel Sardou and she is also one of the authors of Je voudrais que tu me consoles by Julie Zenatti, the previous record of points earned by France in this contest. Her career as a singer was actually very short, since she only recorded two singles: one for Vitaboum and the following song in 1987 under the stage name of Pascale Chambry (with a different spelling compared to her real name). Pascale Chambry - Les mots du jourTimeslot: 2:59

Oh, I'm not too late? Let me in that case present you my entry:
Salvo - Losed Sie Frau Küenzi
Timeslot: 0:32+ Yeah, I'm sorry it's not French when we're already going there, but this was a very spontanous decision from yesterday evening lol.
I've sent quite a few rock entries this decade (and have mostly flopped lol) so what about something else. Losed Sie Frau Künzi is a famous song (with quite the nonsense lyrics as you can probably guess lol) from 1990 as the video title already says. It's apparently also won the "Grandprix der Volksmusik" that year (a music contest Switzerland usually did amazing - yet I'm hardly submitting anything from there lol.)
