Tunis, Tunisia - 2nd April 2021ERTT has just announced their entry that will represent  Tunisia in the grand final in  Mauritius, all thanks to  In-S making it possible by coming 4th last time.
ERTT has selected actor, singer, influencer and probable  gay icon Manel Amara to represent the North African state in Mauritius. Miss Amara is surely a classy lady, spending time between Tunisia and Paris, and sometimes even the  United States. In fact, she sponsored this editions participation. She also supports her besties in  Algeria according to her Instagram.
She will sing the song Njib el money (Pablo Escobar) in the grand final. This will be the third entry from Tunisia to be mostly in Arabic. In keeping with her international status the song also includes phrases in French,  Spanish and  English. The video was shot in  California. Take a listen below:

!تشاد سوف يشارك في المسابقةN'DJAMENA - 3 APRIL 2021 Télé Tchad, the national bradcaster tasked with sending an entry to the Own Africavision Song Contest, has confirmed Chad's participation in the sixth edition, held in Mauritius! This will be the central African state's sixth edition participating in the contest.
After a well-received return to the final in  Johannesburg, Télé Tchad has received a new wave of national support to continue its participation in the continent-wide contest. The broadcaster has decided to internally select an entry for this edition, and has called on both citizens of the nation and the nation's diaspora to submit songs. A formal announcement of the entrant will be made at a later date.

Alexandria, 4 April - Following a 16th in South Africa, there aren’t any doubts that Egypt is going to be present once again in the contest which will be hosted in Mauritius. Unfortunately the popularity of the contest in Egypt is still not that good due to low placements in edition #3 and #4. The popularity was going to increase last edition because of the collaboration with the famous actor Tom Holland which never happened, anyway Tom said during an interview in London that he would still love to collab with the arabic country in the next editions of the contest.
In these days ERTU has decided to involve the population in the choice of our next act, the Head of Delegation has posted on Twitter a simply question and they had the chance to reply in the comments with their dream representative. The most written name were: Bayoumi, Sindy, Rosette Sharma and Elyanna. The Egyptian entry will be revealed in the next days.
~ EGYPT IN OWN AFRICAVISION SONG CONTEST ~
Egypt has officially debuted in the Own Africavision Song Contest during the 2nd edition of it, in their debut they got their best result which they got with the ethnic banger "Fe Nas" by Nathalie Saba. In the 3rd and in the 4th the country has decided to send two French songs and both of them got a bottom 5 results in the grand final, they are "Come Un Echo" by Sindy and "Ou Tu Est?" by Nej'. In the 5th it was confirmed that the country was sending the band CRMNL in a collaboration with Tom Holland but they got disqualified so the arabic country sent "Leena ra2sa" by Carmen Soliman who got a 16th place in the grand final. The country has still a 100% qualification streak.

Morocco officially confirms for the 6th edition of the Own Africavision Song Contest, held again on the beautiful islands of 
Mauritius. After the 9th place of Bilal Hassani with his song "Control", the Moroccan delegation is eager to find another hopeful act that will hopefully continue the successful streak Morocco is experiencing in the last two editions.
