RULES
1. Countries rules
1.1. Your country must be a former country/territory.
1.2. The country's eligibility is considered case by case.
- Your country is likely to be rejected if it's too big. (e.g. the British Empire, the Spanish Empire, etc.)
2. Artists rules
2.1. Your artist must have a strong connection to your country.
- At least one parent of the artist is from the country (or immigrated from there).
- The artist has citizenship of that country.
- The artist is currently living in the country as a citizen of that country.
- However, you can't send artists born in your country but have no other connection to the country.

2.2. For a group: 1/3 or the majority of the members must have a connection to your country.
- 1/4 is allowed in case the one with connection is the leader, the main singer of the group, or a part of the main artists of the song giving that the other 1-2 artists are featuring singers.

3. Entries rules
3.1. Well-known/Worldwide popular songs are not allowed.
3.2. Your entry must not be sent in more than 3 forum contests.
- National selections and second chance contests are not counted.
- If your entry was sent in a contest but it was closed or become inactive before the edition end, it will not be counted.

3.3. Your entry must not finished in the top five of the following contests within the past year.
- North Vision Song Contest (Top 10)
- Fantasia Contest
- NowNewMusic Contest
- Own Eurovision Song Contest (+ its spin-offs)
However, the winner and the runner-up of the mentioned contests are not allowed.

3.4. Your entry can be released from any year.
3.5. Official covers are allowed.
3.6. Instrumentals and remixes (with original artists) are allowed.

3.8. Timeslot is 25 seconds.
3.9. The deadline for sending replacement videos will be the same as entry deadline
- You can provide them after the deadline but I might not use it.

4. Warning rules
25%: Failure to vote without asking for a replacement vote with valid reasons.
15%: Failure to confirm/submit an entry.
10%: Vote during the deadline extension without asking for an extension with valid reasons.
5%: Confirms/Submit an entry after the deadline (in case you are accepted) and other small rules deviations.
Once you reach 100% warnings, you'll be forced to withdraw for one edition and other player can confirm with your country.

5.1. Users can ask for an extension (or a replacement vote) but they must provide a valid reason to do so.
5.2. For revealing extension, users must request it at least 1 hour before the deadline.
5.3. For voting extension, users must request it at least 5 hours before the deadline.
5.4. The length of extensions is ideally about 5 hours at most but exception can be made.

6.1. Accounts have to be created around one month before joining the contest. Exception can be made case by case, such as being active on SCF discord server. This rule was made to prevent alt accounts from joining after a series of incidents happened in the contest.

6.2. If there are at least 15 participating-countries, the Eurovision voting system will be used. (12, 10, 8-1)
6.3. If there are less than 15 participating-countries, the Melodifestivalen voting system will be used. (12, 10, 8, 6, 4, 2 and 1)
6.4. The winner can decide the host city/venue, slogan and the presenter(s) of the next edition.
6.5. This contest will be held alternately with the Binational Music Fest. (BMF->AVSC->BMF->AVSC->…)
6.6. In case you want to withdraw, please specify you just take a break or withdraw permanently.
- Simply said withdraw without giving any detail will be assumed as a permanent withdrawal!
