What a nail-biter, the ESC producers couldn't have come up with a better voting order either.  Congrats to  Philippines on their first victory, very well deserved!  Norway is a great runner-up too! On the other hand, I find Israel very underrated, it definitely deserved more. As for my result.. I kind of expected after the semi results that I finished somewhere near the bottom. At least I'm still avoiding the last place in the semis, that's something.  But I hope to come back stronger next time.  |

Quite an upgrade (and a positive shock) after the 10th place in the semi-final  Huge congratulations to the Philippines for their first victory in the main contest after so many attempts! Hopefully Martin survives this shock, suddenly being first after the last set of votes Couldn't have been more dramatic Furthermore finally a male solo singer wins again, after around 30 editions  Well done to Norway for the 2nd place (and almost winning even), my of this edition, a really nice song  And finally congrats to Germany for their 3rd place too (  )  I assume the 16th place is a satisfying result for a cover, well done Jasna for your efforts and the bravery to submit yourself Overall a great edition imo, see you next time  |

Firstly, I didn't expect to qualify. Secondly, in the final, I was sure I'd be placed below 20th 16th place is almost a shock. Looking back at Slovenia's placements here are some interesting facts. I did better than Amaya on two occasions. She failed to qualify with a cover and placed only 23rd in the final last edition. 16th place is one of the best positions aside from the top 5 placements (better than 8 of my entries in the last 12 editions). This also includes Raiven.   Huge thanks to  and  for awarding me 24 points. Totally unexpected and very much appreciated  About the rest of the results: 7/10 landed in the top 10 so I cannot complain. Those are    and - a very much deserved win with a male soloist  got a good spot, while  and  (so you won't wonder which country it is I included both, lmao jk) were very much underrated  Congrats to everyone who's pleased with their placement and see you in The Philippines next edition |

Hmm... Ukraine  sounded so great in the recap, I thought that someone would finally vote for rock (not Hardkiss). Unfortunately, I was wrong. Everything ended as usual for me and rock music. But thank you for Final! Congratulations to Philippines, my 12 points, a good song, but I'm not completely thrilled. Thank you all for the points and hosting. Next time it will be indie-pop, just as you like! |

I wish I could be in the place of Philippines and finally enjoy my first win, buuuuuut... edition after edition it just ain't happening... Congratz to Philippines! Maybe not a winners material, but definitely a decent song, so no real complaints. It's good to see a new country winning again. At the same time it's also frustrating to see Latvia not being one of those new countries despite trying my hardest... Anyway, everyone's already tired of my complaining so I'll jut shut up for now. Congratz also to others who are satisfied with their results |

Sa wakas! (At last!) I did not see that coming. At all. I've sent certain entries in the past envisioning them doing very well with a fair possibility of winning, and sometimes, it pays off (I got two second places at best in return). This entry was not one I envisioned doing well. "Fire" was a song I happened to like and decided to send for that opinion. I was just looking to qualify, so I was already satisfied when that happened. I thought I would end up on the right side, middle of the table at best. Lo and behold, everyone else liked it enough to push it to the elusive first place. I suppose getting our first ever gold medal in the Olympics was a sign for things to come. Thank you for all your points! It certainly made this razor-thin victory a lot more memorable and gratifying. Special thanks goes to  France,  Malta, and Ukraine for believing in this song and giving your in both the semifinal and the final!   A worthy runner-up. It was a strong final, so I ended up ranking it mid-table. Surprised it just narrowly lost considering how many it got.  . When this was posted, I thought we already had a clear winner. That's not the case now, but it was incredibly close. When it got to the RotW vote, I was sure it would get the and pass me in the last second. I like the song a lot though, so it deserves to be in the podium.  So many good songs placing this high!  So sad Spain couldn't place higher. It's a sublime piece.   So underrated. Iconic. A legend. Putting yourself out there and not flop for it is amazing. Also happy that ASEAN countries topped both semis. Thailand is another good song that got a deserved Top 5 placement. Also not both of us (+  Netherlands) giving the same to Spain.
What else is there to say? Mabuhay! I welcome you all to the Philippines! |
