A few countries apparently withdraw, therefore Poland returns!
Overall 43 countries will take part in this edition in
Kotka, Finland! Welcome to everyone and thanks for your interest! 
As the number is quite low in comparison to most editions in the last years, there's a little change:
We'll have only two semi-finals this edition, with 20 countries each.
The Top 10 of each semi-final qualifies directly to the final, places 11th-14th + 1 wildcard from each semi-final will go to the SCR.
(same system as in the past, the older members might remember
)
The recaps and everything else should be published in the upcoming days, we'll keep you updated

I know Mimis isn't gonna like me asking this, but I was just wondering why Latvia's bird is fully dark red while other red-and-white coloured flag countries have a white head? I'm not saying the dark red is bad in any way, just curious to know, how was Latvia's bird selected to be the only one that doesn't have white head while other's do?
