 NIGERIA CONFIRMS
Following    Rose May Alaba bringing Nigeria an 9th place in  Antananarivo, NTA had no doubts to continue participating, hoping to improve on this result, after it gave the delegation the much needed motivation to continue participating. The entry will be selected internally, however rumours are emerging that  Ray BLK has been approached by the broadcaster after she was spotted entering NTA headquarters in Lagos, however nothing has been confirmed yet.

After the unexpected success of  Rayne and his song "Laat dit Reën" in Antananarivo, who ended in the amazing 7th place of the final, marking the second best Southafrican result in the history of the event, and being the highest scoring song in Afrikaans, we can confirm the presence of our country in the  Seychelles. The idea of maintaining the internal selection was brought up in the internal meeting but in the end it was decided to stick to the plan and bring Kaapstad Musiekfees back, more info on the selection will be revealed soon.
