FINAL ENTRY REMINDERNotice About the Edition Just as a reminder, this is an Altemelanindition. In these editions, only artists from the continent of Africa who are not white will be accepted. For example, Ayra Starr is eligible for both Nigeria and Benin, but Akintoye would not be eligible. Likewise Moonchild Sanelly would be eligible, but Monark wouldn't be eligible. If an entry violates these rules, I reserve the right to reject them. Smaller nations (like Djibouti, Lesotho, etc.) will have a slightly looser definition of the rules than larger nations (like Ghana, Nigeria, etc.). If you have questions about which pod a nation falls into, please dm me (Discord is preferred). Artists that would be rejected this edition can be sent to the next edition.

BANGER UPCOMING WELCOME EVERYONE TO SENEGAL
We are pleased to receive all of you in our lands, in the westernmost point in mainland Africa and the westernmost edition of Own Africavision Song Contest until Cape Verde wins.
Khadyak, an incredible singer became the first Senegalese victory in the history of the contest and the second Senegalese act after Sarahmee, with the biggest amount of points in the contest's history and a 4th place in Winners Edition with the worldwide hit "Lazertits", now Khadyak has been declared as the most important person in Senegal's history
Now in this slay of an edition, RTS has decided on another talented act that will hopefully bring another slay of a result, give the welcome to:
Safary
Safary is Senegalese girl group formed by Khadija, Defa and Maria.
Their style is a real mix. A musical variety (Rap, R&B, Reggae, Dance hall, Acoustic, Pop, Mbalax). They sing in several languages: Wolof, Pular, French and English. Created in 2007, the group Safary which means: Knowledge, Ambition, Feeling of Art for the Success of Innovation is a group of girls that "fate has brought together for a promising artistic adventure".
The meeting of this band of young girls took place at the Lycée. Indeed, Maria and Khadija shared the same class at Lycée Maurice de la Fosse. Along the way, the group expanded with the arrival of other members: Zouk, Betty, Defa and Tima. Together they formed the group "Clean Deal" which did not last very long. From its ashes, will be born the Safary group which has made the bet to survive. Full of ambition, they intend to upset the hierarchy and make a name for themselves on the African music scene.
"Del Bale" by. Safary ft. Omzo Dollar TS: 2:32+
Good luck to everyone and have fun in Senegal

ENTRY SUBMISSIONS ARE CLOSED (EXCEPT FOR BURUNDI)Every nation (except for Burundi) has sent in an eligible entry. However, given that Burundi only was informed that they could participate today, they will get an additional 24 hours to send in an eligible entry. As it stands, there are going to be 48 nations that will be headed to Dakar. Kenya didn't post, but they sent an entry to me, and notified me that they are having issues posting in the forum, so I will post their song.
