CONFIRMATIONS REMINDER 1Notice About the Edition Just as a reminder, this is an Altemelanindition. In these editions, only artists from the continent of Africa who are not white will be accepted. For example, Ayra Starr is eligible for both Nigeria and Benin, but Akintoye would not be eligible. Likewise Moonchild Sanelly would be eligible, but Monark wouldn't be eligible. If an entry violates these rules, I reserve the right to reject them. Smaller nations (like Djibouti, Lesotho, etc.) will have a slightly looser definition of the rules than larger nations (like Ghana, Nigeria, etc.). If you have questions about which pod a nation falls into, please dm me (Discord is preferred). Artists that would be rejected this edition can be sent to the next edition.

In this edition, only artists from the continent of Africa who are not white will be accepted. Miss Miraa May was raised and based in E*gland. Sadly, Algeria is the 9th largest nation in Africa, meaning I won't be nearly as lenient with the entries from her as some other nations. She can come back in E12. I know that a lot of Algerian singers are diaspora in Europe, so I'll be cool if they are based there. For now, though, please find a different song

RTI (Radio Television Ivoirienne) confirms that Ivory Coast will be present in the special eleventh Own Africavision Song Contest. Cote d’Ivore songstress Vitale and Uganda’s self-styled African Mandela Eddy Kenzo will represent the country after his home country announced its withdrawal. Vitale is a renown songstress from Ivory Coast behind hit songs like “Coups de reins” and “Cheri Coco”. The self-styled African Beyonce is full of energy and she oozes just that in her OAfSC song with Kenzo. The two combine well as they compliment each other’s music styles to produce a song full of vibes. Kenzo sings in Luganda as Vitale relays her lyrics in French.
The video is a whole party mood as Vitale and Kenzo express their vibes in full HD. Watch it here first...BOOM BOOM (Timeslot: 0:59-) Bonne chance!
