After an unacceptable placement of 
King Drac and his friends that we forgot right now in 
Toronto, Guyana is undeservingly forced to compete in the quarter-final. Opinions of the broadcaster Guyana Broadcasting Corporation (GBC) about participation were pretty ambivalent but in the end, the team agreed to join the contest for one more time. However, thank god the quarter-final is canceled (hopefully) so we don't have to risk our gem in the gala again. "What is the last time we didn't sing in English again. Oh gosh that's so long I'm so sick. Let's sing in other language then." - Fiona Singh. Yes, as what our milady Fiona stated, we will send a non-English song again but is it going to be a new language or not? That's the different question which we can sadly say that the answer is no. However, the last and only time we debuted a language is when we sent Efkola which is entirely in flaggreek Greek and it seems like our entry is going to be in Greek again. Ladies and gentlepeople, she is back after betraying us by representing 
Greenland and gave them an AQ...

Shaya ★ Marianna Chantelle Hansen (Μαριάννα Χάνσεν), known professionally as Shaya, is a Danish-born Greek singer. Shaya was a member of the girl band Hi-5, the result of the Greek version of the talent show Popstars. She is currently pursuing a solo career and finished fifth in Greece's version of Dancing on Ice. Shaya was born in Denmark to a Danish father and a Guyanese mother. The family moved to Sweden after her parents' divorce when she was 6. At the age of 12, Shaya and her family immigrated once more, settling in Thessaloniki, Greece. Her mother was a disc jockey before Shaya's birth. Although Shaya enjoyed singing and dancing from a young age, including performing with SambaSchools in Copenhagen Carnival, she became interested in becoming a singer by luck when she was persuaded to get on stage to sing a song with co-workers after work at a club she worked at in Kavala around age 18.
★ Shaya is no stranger to Own contests as she used to represent Greece twice in Own Eurovision Song Contest and presented on the OAmSC stage twice as well: For Guyana in the third edition with the song "Efkola" and for Greenland in the eight edition with the song "Feel My Love". Both times, she managed to finish in top 7 and eventually gave Greenland a right to automatically qualify in the following edition. On August 1, she was announced to return to OAmSC stage again for Guyana with a banger in Greek. She is ready to fuel the party in 
Jamaica with the song....

Montserrat and 
Reece Lemonius is a Jamaican-Welsh singer-songwriter and pianist. He represented Jamaica in the Own Americavision Song Contest 11 with his song "Something I Can Feel" and went on to win the competition, giving Jamaica its first win.
