Today we have received the following news about Umk: The broadcaster has received 363 song submissions. The show will be held in Turku on 25th of February. There will be 7 participants and their songs are explained as: "We have, among others, the best dance song in the UMK history sung by an unbelievably strong new singer, a song that just oozes sexuality by a well-known artist, a heartbreakingly beautiful ballad by one of Finland’s biggest export hopefuls, well-known and up-and-coming bands, and one of the hardest rap bangers in UMK history." The artists are to be revealed on the 11th of January. eurovision.tv/story/finland-ready-party-massive-plans-2023

I like it a lot for a first listening, although it sounds a lot like a Mabel song. Keira has a unique voice, but it can get annoying, I fear. Overall a good first release for the artist (I think it's her debut?) as well as the Ns.

Before we forget, this will be Benjamin's entry tomorrow. Benjamin - Hoida Mut Edit after a first look: I wouldn't say I know the artist so I didn't know what to expect. But omg, this is amazing. I can, however, see it falling flat in a few months.

Robin Packalen - Girls like you
It's a solid yet a bit basic pop song and not the bang we were all hoping for. Though I actually like it. ^^

Lxandra - Something to lose
It's beautiful, but besides that, I'm not 100 % sure what to think about it, although I like the song quite a lot.
Btw. at half time, this is my top 4:
1. Keira 2. Lxandra 3. Benjamin 4. Robin
Or sth. similar since I seem to like them equally, lol.

Käärijä - Cha Cha Cha The first part appeared to be quite wtf. In the chorus, it's become even more wtf but also amazing.

Why can't you hold me in the street? Why can't I kiss you on the dance floor?
