After an exciting and long national selection, the small European country has found the next representative for a new edition of the Northvision Song Contest. The Gold Final of the "Festival dei Castelli 17" is won by Meg, she will fly to Greece to represent San Marino.
Meet the artist
Meg aka Maria Di Donna is a 50-year-old Italian singer born in Naples, she is singer-songwriter and record producer. Her music genre is a mix of psychedelic pop, alternative dance and electronic music, she has been compared to Bjork in the past. On February 20, the girl was announced as the next Sammarinese representative in the continent-wide European music competition Northvision Song Contest. In 
Athens, the big singer will present the country with her song “Fortefragile”.Meet the entry
Meg was declared the winner of the national selection for the next Sammarinese representative for the contest. She won the gold final, against Priestess, Emma Nolde and the duo Santi Francesi.
The singer's main challenge was with Priestess. She arrives first in the grand final with 12 singers, only 7 points behind the young girl, and very close in the gold final with her and Santi Francesi.

FORTEFRAGILE is a celebration of life and our fascinating nature that constantly oscillates between two poles: that of fragility and that of tenacity. A "dance" within tribal atmospheres, sometimes esoteric that mix with electronics.
Meg wants to restore dignity to the path of self-discovery and the world around us, a path that can only be done with the awareness that only by making a mistake can one improve. And there is no shame in admitting that we are fallible, we are strong and fragile human.
