Klarna Fordian Grand Prix - Raceday
Lindeshättan - Welcome back to Lindeshättan Park for the Klarna Fordian Grand Prix. We're on the third and final day of this race weekend and that means one thing: It's time to go racing. So let's see how the Fordian Grand Prix shook out.
RACE SUMMARY
After an uneventful start to this race weekend, Sunday wasted no time in getting to the drama. For two drivers the race was over before it even began. Aurora GP driver Batyr Ovezov did not manage to make it to the grid as his engine gave up on him before the end of the pit line forcing him to retire very early. He was joined in his woes by Theta driver Matthias Kaiser whose car made it out of the pit lane but not through the formation lap around Lindeshättan Park, an engine failure parking the car in the offside near Turn 10. With two cars out of the running already the remaining 22 drivers lined up on the grid to await the iconic "It's lights out and away we go" to start the Fordian Grand Prix and 60 laps of racing. Drama didn't steer clear of the track after lights out though as a shunt on lap 2 from Elliot Owens (Stella) forced him and two other drivers, Morikawa Utako from MV Motorsport and the second Aurora GP car of Leonardo Garcia to an early retirement by lap 4 (Owens), 9 (Utako) and 11 (Garcia) respectively. The action remained in the back half of the pack as not even 10 laps later on lap 17 Valentin Bogrov in his Price-Houghton car went off the track at Turn 10, almost establishing a pattern here, hitting ZENITH driver Eric Nydegger, beaching both of them in the gravel and bringing out the first Safety Car of the race. We wouldn't even make it out of the Safety Car before the next retirement with Nydegger's partner Peter Gallagher limping back to the pits on lap 23 with an Hydraulics failure. We could then enjoy twelve laps of clean racing only losing two drivers in the process, with Pyrenee driver Antonio Da Silva retiring after a pierced radiator turned his car into an oven on wheels and the power unit of jm Racing's Chimpu Pari giving up on him. Another power unit would then provide us with the second Safety Car of the race when that of Aignan Grall (Thunderbolt) forced him to park his car on the side of the road in the arena section near Turn 2. We would finally get going again, being reduced to now 13 remaining drivers on lap 40 but when it rains it pours so the pack found themselves behind the Safety Car once more on lap 50 after the brakes of Emil Wallin (Thunderbolt) turned to smoke leaving him in the wall of turn 15 just past the pit entry. This left us with a bunched-up field and only five laps of racing left so the suspense was high as was the risk and reward factor for the remaining 12. Some drivers really made use of this with Angeline Chauveau (Pyrenee) starting a chase for first place and being rewarded with the win after passing race leader, pole sitter and fellow Lakadamian Ludovic Bruneau (Red Dragon) on lap 58. The Team LH drivers also made daring moves that rewarded them greatly with Bent Arneson snatching P3 from Quadrant driver Svenn Thoe and Timur Meredow who originally started P20 finishing the race in P5. Other great drives included Miyano Katsuhiko (jm Racing) turning a P21 race start into a P9 and Meech Reeves (Price-Houghton) fighting off challenges from both Simón Hurtado (Stella) and Emmanuel Ahler (Theta) to keep his P10 finish.
RACE RESULT
This is the final result of the Klarna Fordian Grand Prix.
CHAMPIONSHIP STANDINGS
After two races Angeline Chauveau now leads the Word Drivers Championship ahead of Leonardo Tulipani, Ludovic Bruneau, Svenn Thoe and Bent Arneson. The biggest jump in the standing was made by Timur Meredow who jumped nine places, currentyl sitting in 6th place. The Top 3 of the World Constructors Championship remains unchanged as Quadrant Racing leads from Pyrenee F1 Team and Red Dragon Racing Team. Team LH jumps from 8th to 4th place thanks to the P3 finish of Bent Arneson with Thunderbolt F1 rounding out the Top 5.

Breitling Lanovinan Grand Prix - Raceday
Lundheim - Welcome back to the Icircuit for the Breitling Lanovinan Grand Prix. We're on the third and final day of this race weekend and that means one thing: It's time to go racing. So let's see how the Lanovinan Grand Prix shook out.
RACE SUMMARY
With an absolute chaos of a race last time out in Fordia all eyes were on the track to see how chaotic this race would be. With no incidents reported ahead of the start it was Lights Out and Away We Go for all 24 drivers. The start already saw a big reshuffle of the grid after lap 1. Quadrant driver Svenn Thoe managed to pass the four drivers ahead of him putting himself into P1 to a roaring hometown crowd after the first lap. Meanwhile third placed Karri Valtonen (Red Dragon) did not get a good start dropping from P3 to P6 by the end of lap 1. After the dust had settled the field found their footing and we'd need to wait until lap 19 for further action. This action was then provided by Emmanuel Ahler (Theta) whose engine gave up on him near Turn 5, bringing out the yellow flags. The next bout of action then came courtesy of the Pyrenee pit crew who managed to completely fumble the pit stop of Angeline Chauveau which saw her rejoin the field behind Emil Wallin (Thunderbolt) in P8. This would be a foreshadowing of things to come for the Lakadamian outfit. But before that the attention turned to the midfield as Aignan Grall (Thunderbolt) and Simón Hurtado (Stella) fought their way through the field, sitting in P16 and P17 after lap 34 of 81. With this success story it is back to the dramatics of the Pyrenee pit crew. They decided that both of their drivers are deserving of a fumbled pit stop with Antonio Da Silva entering the pit lane in P5 and exiting it in P20 after the pit crew, for whatever reason, did not have the tyres ready that needed to go onto the Werdianans car. After this horrendous pit stop, bad turned for worse for two different drivers, Meech Reeves (Price-Houghton) and Juan Carlos Sáenz (MV Motorsport) who booked a safari into the outskirts of Turn 11 and losing any hope of getting points this race. After the National Geographic portion of the Grand Prix concluded, attention turned back to the front where Bent Arneson (Team LH) fought his way through the field to reach the back of Leonardo Tulipani (Quadrant) in P3, overtaking him on lap 73 to finish P3 for a second race in a row. Behind these two, Miyano Katsuhiko (jm Racing) made his way past the car of Karri Valtonen whose day turned to a nightmare, now finding himself in P8 and having to fight off Elliot Owens (Stella) for the rest of the race.
RACE RESULT
This is the final result of the Breitling Lanovinan Grand Prix.
CHAMPIONSHIP STANDINGS
With three races completed, Svenn Thoe becomes the third driver to sit in P1. Rounding out the Top 5 are Angeline Chauveau, Ludovic Bruneau, Leonardo Tulipani and Bent Arneson. The biggest jump in the standings were two five-place jumps by Elliot Owens and Morikawa Utako. The biggest drop were two four-place drops from Matthias Kaiser and Peter Gallagher. The Top 5 of the World Constructors Championship sees little change with Quadrant Racing still leading, now ahead of Red Dragon Racing Team, switching places with the now third-placed Pyrenee F1 Team, Team LH and Thunderbolt F1.
For the timing sheet please consult this table.
Stay tuned for more action in early November as we head to the Troiad ad Naoned (Naoned Circuit) in Dýria for the Dýrian Grand Prix.
