I tried ...My top 12 of  MESC 20241. Erba' - SirenaIt's good.  And it seems like a fun song - despite being probably not finished yet. I like the harmony in their vocals. I'm also really happy with the inclusion of Maltese (it also makes sense). If they get a revamp with more power and a good performance, the girls could definitely qualify to the final. 2. Matt Blxck - BananaThis is hilarious. I love this. 3. Janvil - ManIt's repetitive, but I like it a lot. It's got somewhat of an 80s vibe. He also has an enjoyable voice. Also 4th song in and the first one I was able to listen until the end. 4. Sarah Bonnici - LoopA modern dance track. I can see her doing well with a good staging. 5. Denise Mercieca - MaraYes for Maltese! Also her voice snd stage presence are good.  The song itself so far is okay I guess. 6. Greta Tude - TopicThis is good and fun. I really dislike her vocals, however. 7. Ryan Hili - KarmaAn amazing singing voice. The song doesn't suit it, though. Additionally it happens to be outdated and not powerful enough. Hopefully it gets a good revamp because I normally love these ballads. 8. Gail Attard - Wild CardNow that was a voice. Sadly the song gives nothing. 9. Nathan - GhostApparently an emotional song, but it doesn't get through to me. Also his voice is slightly annoying. 10. Haley Azzopardi - Tell me that it's overA beautiful ballad. Sadly it's lenghty af. 11. Miriana Conte - VenomShe has an amazing voice, but the song is so bad. It also sounds like its not finished yet. 12. Lisa - Gauci - BreatheAnother impressive vocal performance. The song however is a non event that just keeps going. There are hardly any songs (Man and Sirena basically) that sound like they were finished. Therefore I wasn't able to listen even until 1:20 in several occasions ... The artists are not bad, but they were not given the right songs at all ... |

Loop is not a bad entry. It's a modern dance tune in fact. Her breathing into the microphone bothers me a lot though. Overall Sarah is getting a  from me. With a good revamp and staging she might actually make it to the final - depending on the competitors ofc. |
