Why can't you hold me in the street? Why can't I kiss you on the dance floor?

My top 16 of Benidorm Fest 2024:1. Almácor - Brillos platinoA fun party track. There's nothing more to add lol. 2. Dellacruz - Beso en la mañanaI like this song a lot although it appears to be somewhat messy. 3. Noan - Te echo deFirst of all, he has an enjoyable voice. The song is powerful and has a good development over the 3 minutes. 4. Lérica - AstronautaThis is vocally a bit annoying and also in the instrumental parts there are a few tones that bother me. Overall it's still an amazing song. Also Idk, but I find it also a bit unusual for a Spanish (also the language) song. I'm more used to this sound coming from other countries. 5. Marlena - Amor de veranoIt's an upbeat and catchy pop song. In other songs by the girls the singers voice annoyed me at some point. Here I'm good. It's just that she should please get a better pronunciations in the English parts. 6. Angy - Sé quién soyA really powerful tune with good vocals right here. The reason why it's not higher, is that there's still something e. g. the last 15 seconds) I'm struggling with a bit. 7. Mantra - Me vas a verIt may not be that catchy, but it's still an enjoyable pop song. 8. Quique Niza - PrisioneroIt's alright. That's also why I'm putting it right in the middle lol. 9. Nebulossa - ZorraAnother upbeat song. But a more electronic one.this time. Theoretically I'd like this a lot, but it's too lengthy and i dont like her voice. 10. Miss Caffeina - Bla Bla BlaSorry, but I really dislike his voice ... The song itself is just okay too. I don't mind It, but if not needed wouldn't listen again. 11. Sofia Coll - Here to stayTheoretically a fun pop rock song. Sadly after the first chorus it falls flat. 12. St. Pedro - Dos extraños (Cuarteto de cuerda)A beautiful ballad. I particularly like the Latin American elements. Sadly it takes time and gets lengthy at some point. 13. Roger Padrós - El TempsBeautiful, but boring 14. Yoly Saa - No se me olvidaAnother song including traditional elements. Unfortunately that's where the positive thoughts of mine are ending. Because I don't like her voice and the song is ovetall rather unspectacular and on top of it becomes messy towards the end. 15. Maria Peláe - RemitenteA Flamenco song that one can actually clap along to. I feel like there's no peak in it at all. I strad it just keeps going ... Also Idk, but it just doesn't seem competitive to me. 16. Jorge González- CalienteThis seems like a really bad Ricky Martin rip off go me. It's just that it's got no power. Instead there's an annoying trumpet and underwhelming vocals ... Overall it's going to be - at least in terms of the songs - a really good 2024 festival. We've got many good songs from various genres.

My top 16 from a very brief listening to
1. Jorge Gonzalez (what the heck Fabbi lmao) 2. Angy Fernandez (Iconiccc) 3. St. Pedro (I just knew they would underrate this one unfortunetly) 4. Maria Pelae (Make Blanca Paloma but more classical, WE LOVE IT) 5. Sofia Coll (This has been growing off of me slowly after listening to the whole song but it's still good) 6. Yoly Saa (I can definetly see this growing on me more) 7. Miss Caffeina (Don't know why people are hating on this, its fun and catchy) 8. Nebulossa (This is also growing on me) 9. Lerica (They're like the Spanish Samir & Viktor) 10. Mantra (It's starts off nice, but it just starts to get boring) 11. Noan (I like everything but his voice) 12. Dellacruz (There's nothing I like about this one, but there's also nothing that I despise) 13. Roger Padros (It's nice I guess but it just sounds outdated) 14. Quiqui Niza (Don't like his voice, the song is trying to be something it's not) 15. Almacor (I rated these songs before I even started to look at any public opinion, and I absolutely shocked to find that this shit is apparently the fan favourite, the music is absolutely annoying as hell and his voice makes me want to gouge my ears out) 16. Marlena (give us nothing why don't you)

Lmao Amanda your comment on #1 really caught my attention to look the entire rankingup. It seems like our full top 16 are basically each others upside-down.

This is my top 8 of the first evening's performances: 1. Angy 2. Nebulossa 3. Noan 4. Miss Caffeina 5. Sofia 6. Lérica 7. Quique Niza 8. Mantra I'm good with the first qualifiers, although with me liking only 2 of them compared to 3 non qualifiers, I don't quite agree. It's btw. sad seeing Mantra winning the televoting (even more when with 57 %), yet not qualifying. I'm looking forward to the second evening now.
