Costa Rican Entry
After getting Costa Rica's best result with the new HoD in only 2 editions, we have to mention that we're extremely happy with the results obtained and we thank the full continent of America, also the fact that we are automatically qualifying after losing our last AQ placement 3 editions ago thanks to a miscommunication.
We like to present all of you our representantives in Saint Lucia, please welcome:
Roca Bruja
Roca Bruja is a Costa Rican youth venture with enormous potential that is already something to talk about in the Central American nation, as it combines talent, creativity and the desire that youth inspires. Roca Bruja was founded two and a half years ago. A youth experience guided by Abel Guier, with whom they have performed countless concerts and shared stages with the Gandhi band at the Jazz Café. The record label Vibras The Music Company assumed the representation of this band that has produced an EP of six songs and a single, titled Magnetismo, which talks about the energy of attraction between two people.
Composed by Jorge Alejandro González Jerez, a young Venezuelan drummer, far from his beloved state of Zulia, where he emigrated when he was 12 years old, Roberto Gavarrete, the singer who mixes poetry and music to write the band's songs, Felipe Moya the bassist and Mathyas Vargas, known as “V”, is the guitarist.

PUERTO RICAN ENTRY REVEALED The first edition of Puerto Rico's choice has come to and end and the winner has been decided. With a landslide victory, we can finally reveal the winners and therefore our next representatives.
Recycled J (he/him) born on July 17, 1993 in Madrid, Spain, is an artist who draws from reggaeton R&B as well as trap, electronic influences. Previously known as Cool (as part of the Hijos de la Ruina group), he retired from music to go into teaching for a few years. He returned to making music in 2015 with his new MC name and a lighter, pop musical style which he continues to pursue both solo and in collaboration with other artists.
Villano Antillano (she/her, they/them), born on March 27, 1995 in Bayamón, Puerto Rico, is a rapper, songwriter and singer. She gained recognition in 2022 with the release of "Bzrp Music Sessions, Vol. 51" alongside producer Bizarrap. From an early stage, Antillano had an interest in music, one of her first musical inspirations being Rubén Blades. Antillano started her career in 2019 with her extended play Tiranía, which treats themes like prejudice against LGBT people.
Their song "Cruel" won the national selection with 87,50% of the votes, meaning that they will get the ticket and represent our country in Saint Lucia for the 17th Own Americavision Song Contest.
